“Wonderful family and people and property. It is a budget hostel so please keep that in mind. Don’t expect something fancy. The owner makes it affordable and the fees are mainly to keep it operating to make it possible for people travelling on a budget to experience this beautiful country and the property is magnificent in tranquility. “The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. It was roomy and had a shower head on the ceiling from which a cascade of water came down. It was great!
