The Getaway Chalet is a cozy 2 Bedroom/1.5 Bath home(cabin) that has been recently updated and is new to the rental market.

The Space

With an inviting atmosphere, excellent location, and easy access to skiing and hiking trails, this home lets outdoor enthusiasts experience the best of Maggie Valley and the surrounding area. In the wintertime, head to Cataloochee Ski Resort or Tube World, located less than 5 minutes away, for ear-to-ear smiles and laughter in the snow. During the summer, hike the trails in Great Smoky Mountain National Park for stunning views you can't get anywhere else. After a long day of fun and sightseeing, unwind on one of the private outdoor patio spaces or tucked in by the wood burning stove fireplace.

This chalet style cabin is just the right size for a cozy getaway or a family retreat. It boasts rustic charm with modern conveniences including free WiFi, an updated kitchen with concrete countertops and stainless steel appliances, flatscreen TV with satellite cable, and a bluetooth speaker. Wonderful property.

Fall colors weekend
Our family 5 enjoyed this house so much that we are already planning a return trip next fall! The house is so perfect for a weekend getaway to the mountains! It is modern, decorated nicely, comfortable, and very clean! The hosts even had coffee available for us to use in the coffee maker for the weekend. This was just a nice bonus since we didn’t plan to grocery shop on our weekend away!

Nice visit.
It’s a nice little house with all the amenities. My only issue is there are 5 beds listed on the property description. The pictures are accurate, so I should have paid better attention, but the room where they state there is a couch and a queen sized bed, these are one and the same. Luckily there was still plenty of room for us. My only other issue was lack of AC. I admit that it was fine. You’re up on a mountain side and it’s really pretty comfortable, but without AC it can get pretty humid in the summer. The owners do have a dehumidifier which I’m sure is helpful, but it’s loud and it blows hot air. All that being said, we had a nice visit, and I don’t regret the choice to stay there at all.

The Chalet80 was Wonderful
The owners were very easy to communicate with. The chalet is absolutely cool. I was just the right size for our party of 3 adults and one teenager. The Chalet is super clean, very pleasant to to relax and enjoy. We loved the location for our purposes of being in the area. The chalet was well thought out, had conveniences that we expected and some were pleasantly surprised about. The Creek across the road was an added benefit. The beds were very comfortable. Restrooms very clean and fresh. The Kitchen was fun! The owners did a really great job of making this a place that we would love to return to! Thanks so Much!
