Nice home in gated community. Host was appropriately communicative. Property was clean. Don't let steep roads through the neighborhood scare you - parking at property is flat with easy access into the house.

Nice setting but a neighbors dogs barked day and night so sitting out on the deck or opening the windows was impossible. However with all windows closed you could not hear them at night The bed pillows had no covers under the sheet cases. The cases did not fully cover the pillows. We slept downstairs because we brought a dog. The mattress is very soft. The upstairs bed looked better. The kitchen utensils and dinnerware need a refresh for anyone planning to cook. While a nice location and convenient , it was not up to the standard of other VRBOs we rented. We did appreciate being able to bring our dog.

Perfect

Lazy Bear was more than we even anticipated. The cabin is beautiful, impeccably clean, with a well-stocked kitchen full of items you’d need for a stay. Relaxing in the hot tub while looking at a clear sky full of stars was worth every single penny to book this cabin. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

Great Escape

My family and I had a wonderful time. The place was awesome. Beat our high expectations. Will definitely stay here again. Cabin is more than big enough for a family of 4 and cozy at the same time. Couldn't have found a better place for our mountain escape. Close to skiing and tube world.

Cozy cabin with a convenient location to Cataloochee

Great little cabin with convenient location. We skied Cataloochee one day and took a day trip to Asheville the next. Easy access to both! The price point and location were the reason we stayed. Great value!

Nice and quite

I loved this place and how clean and quite. It’s close to the hikes, and Asheville as well. The only thing that I wished for is the cabin to be far enough form the neighbors but that was on me for not checking before actually reserving this place but I enjoyed this place and would recommend it.
