This beautiful property is situated on the hills next to Magliano and offers on the one hand a dreamlike view over olive groves and wheat fields to the bay north of Monte Argentario and to the Isola del Giglio, and on the other hand to Maglianio itself. The country house is situated on a 17 ha estate where olives are cultivated. The house has a very spacious garden with a 17 m pool. Cats and rabbits hop across the meadows, a horse looks over from the paddock, crickets chirp. There is no more relaxing holiday home than this.
The house has three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and is air-conditioned. The charming character of a country house has been retained. You immediately feel comfortable and at home. We enjoyed the week here very much and relaxed. The house is an unreserved recommendation.
The owner Raffaele and his wife are incredibly friendly and helpful, showed us everything personally and gave us tips on restaurants and excursions (beaches, motorboat, etc.). The manager lives in a house on the edge of the estate and is always helpful and available, keeping the property tidy early in the morning. But at the same time he keeps a very discreet low profile, you don't notice him.
You can shop either in Magliano at the Alimentari (7 min. by car) or at the cooperative next door (4 min. by car). Fruit and vegetables are available directly from the farmer nearby. We cooked a lot ourselves because of the great quality of the food, but we also went out to eat in restaurants. There are two to three very good restaurants nearby (Magliano and St. Andrea).
We were here with our three adult children and enjoyed the stay to the fullest. It was definitely not our last time here.
