"Came to the area to see the solar eclipse, and decided to stay at this property on Cedar Creek Lake. The house was a perfect fit for the four of us adults and two small dogs. The big back porch has an amazing lake view, and the location—only an hour from Dallas—enabled us to enjoy lake life and go into town when we wanted to. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host made sure our experience was memorable. A great stay!"

"We had several bad storms come through during our stay and we were so happy to be able to use the boat lift instead of having to load and unload the boat every day. The owner was available when I reached out and allowed us to check in an hour early. We also caught some nice fish right under the boat lift when the lake was too rough to go out in the boat. Beautiful sunsets!"

"The staff was very friendly, rooms were newly updated and it was fairly quiet being on a road- only complaint is that the bed was a bit too hard for me but that could be personal preference. Oh and also the towels were tiny- other than that it was just fine for our weekend. It’s right on a lake so it was such a pretty area "

"We loved the nicely decorated home and comfortable beds. Plenty of room for our family. We loved the huge master bath, shower and closet!! The fire pit and deck were so nice to have and we enjoyed being on the water. The neighborhood in to the home is a little sketchy, but after spending time in Texas lake communities, this is kind of the norm. Neighbors were super friendly. Many dogs barking constantly in the neighborhood, but the home itself inside is quiet and we didn’t notice it unless we...
