「My room was the first room in the corridor. The corridor was having a door which was heavy. Each time people came in or went out through the corridor, the door slamming loudly. One morning, other guests might need to catch a very early morning flight, and woke me up. Other than the door all other things were good. Staff were friendly.」

「Thoroughly enjoyed my brief stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The indigenous art and designs within the hotel are amazing with a beautiful gift store also to explore! Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful, with great food and super staff!」

「Nice location, right on the harbour. My only complaint is the complimentary breakfast situation. A voucher is issued for the Cantina next door. A simple breakfast took 1 ½ hrs to arrive at the table, 3 mornings in a row. Good thing we didn't have to be anywhere at a specific time.」

「The Pioneer Inn is an older property which appears from the outside to have seen better days. However the friendly new owners are upgrading the interior. Our room was spacious & the beds were lovely. The floors were redone with new flooring , bathrooms vanity. etc. The restaurant which is run by the hotel owners has delicious Asian food. I enjoyed the beautifully presented tempura.」
