“My husband and I planned a stay with our girls and both our dads to make some memories. We found this amazing cabin and booked right away. It was even nicer in person than described. Only about 30 minutes from mammoth cave. They had plenty to do in the cabin when it rained and we all got to enjoy the hot tub post our hikes. We enjoyed competing on the shuffleboard table as well! If you are staying in the area, choose this house, you will not be disappointed.”

“This property was super clean with comfortable beds! Was fairly close to Mammoth Cave! Check out the Blue Hollar! Cute little local restaurant close by! Only con was internet service was terrible, but most likely to location in the mountains! If you want to go to Lake Nolin it's a very short drive up the street! My dog loved swimming in the lake!”

“My family ages 21 to 70+ had a nice long weekend at the cabin. Everything was spotless and the property was very quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed the fire pit and screened porch. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. I especially liked that one of the bedrooms was on the main floor as my parents are elderly. The host was very responsive. Cabin location was also great and within less than a 40 minute drive of activities for all interests and ages.”

“A great place to stay for the weekend. We loved feeding the animals next to the cabin and kayaking. We loved the dogs visiting (Lola, Charlie, and Bo). Everything you could need to cook was available. We made use of the fire pit in the back and made our dinner over it using the grill.”

“The house was great. Very cozy for celebrating the new year. Beds are memory foam, new and wonderful if you like memory foam. Close to the National Park to be able to explore but come back and unwind. The house had everything we needed. If we ever come back we will definitely rebook.”

“My family and I had greatly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was clean and well stocked with any kitchen utensil you could need. The provided fire logs were greatly appreciated during the chilly evenings and our 2 year old sun loved hanging out on the gated deck in the afternoon sunshine. Good lake access for fishing and boat docking. The lake was still pretty low at the time of our visit, but was still able to walk down to the waters edge to fish. We plan on coming back as it was such a nice……

“Clean and well-equipped cabin overlooking a small pond. Owners were very cooperative and helpful. Unfortunately, we had bad weather and opted to leave early because pretty much all activities in the area are outdoors. After we used our cave tour tickets and found out that tours for the next few days were sold out, it didn't make sense to stay longer. Definitely rent a cabin on the lake. We were on a very small pond, and it was not what we expected. The waterfall and trail to get to it are……

“We rented this cabin for 2 nights as a getaway for our 24th anniversary. The cabin was surprisingly roomy for its size! It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The area was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed walking the trails and viewing the cave and waterfall that was nearby. Beautiful scenery all around! Property owners did an awesome job with everything and made it an easy and stress free stay. We will definitely be returning in the future!”

“My 2 14 year old daughters and I had an amazing time here! Peggy was amazing to work with. Everything was as stated and more. They made sure we were very comfortable and had everything. Peggy went out of her way to make it the best stay possible. We will likely come back again or at the very least let others know about it.”

“Everything we needed. Close proximity to National Park (as long as Green River Ferry is open). Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and we loved watching the horses and goats while drinling our morning coffee!”

“Pat's home is beautiful, with every amenity imaginable. We particularly enjoyed the comfy and ample seating, the fireplaces, and the back porch. The heat lamps were a special surprise and we made use of them during our frigid time of year visit. The house is quite a trek from the landmarks you would plan to visit in the winter, just give yourself ample time to get anywhere that is scheduled (like Mammoth Cave tours and the like). I imagine visiting in the warmer months makes for a more appealing……

“Spacious, clean, and close to everything we wanted to see. Frank knows the area well and helped us get to everything we wanted to see and do. We enjoyed the hot tub, disc golf (even as beginners), and s'mores over the fire. Thanks for a great stay.”

“We had a great time. Cabin had everything we needed. We noticed right away how clean everything was. It was decorated very cute and we loved the four seasons room. Enjoyed the beautiful lake views and had a fun time exploring Mammoth caves. We also did the waterfall hike at the state park just down the road.”

“We really enjoyed our time at Lakeside Dreams. It was quiet and peaceful. The water levels are down quite a bit in the winter so may want to check that out if you plan to use the lake much but our kids had fun skipping rocks into the lake nonetheless. The property was clean and as advertised. Our only snag was that we didn't receive the door code and upon arrival had trouble getting into the home for a few mins. This was quickly corrected by a fast response from the property manager.”

“Loved the Robins Nest. Lovely inside and out. The porch was relaxing, Bed (we only slept in the downstairs one) was super comfortable, beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable. We were there to go to Mammoth Cave, and it was about 30 minutes away, so convenient and yet not overrun with other tourists. The neighborhood was peaceful. There are not a lot of food options or even grocery stores nearby, so plan ahead with that. Otherwise, we'd gladly book this again.”
