Seasonal Road Closure Notice: HWY 120 (Tioga Pass) generally closes for the winter from late October through late June. Daily closures can also occur during periods of inclement weather in spring and fall. The Eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park is located 45 minutes from Mammoth Lakes. Yosemite's Eastern Gate or Tuolumne Meadows is not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. All other Yosemite National Park entrances are open year round. This was a fantastic stay! When we arrived to check in, the front desk staff gave us a very clear, very friendly detailed explanation. They have their own snowplows clearing the parking lot. And you can borrow shovels at the front desk.

I had the perfect day at this establishment. The staff is super friendly and the rooms are very comfortable! They have a nice hot tub and pool. The rooms have a fridge and a coffee maker. The microwave is shared in the lowest floor.

I come to Mammoth all the time for the mammoth rocks Festival but I had never stayed here. It sure was nice being able to walk across the street. Friendly staff and really cool rooms.

What a great place to stay! We had a spacious room, a comfy bed, and access to the Village and lots of dining options. The best part of all was the Mammoth Gran Fondo start line was across the street. Easy to start and close after the finish.

I stayed for five days. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking for my Jeep and kayak trailer. The best thing about this hotel is its location. Very walkable to attractions. I would highly recommend the Alpenhof

We enjoyed the character of this hotel, which stands out in a town full of sludge green modern buildings. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Mammoth is very expensive in general so this is a good budget option. Rooms are small but plenty of hooks to hang coats, good shower. Quiet, small fridge was a bonus. The Clocktower Cellar Bar was fantastic, popular with the locals, great range of beer, and fab pub food.

Updated large room with a comfortable king bed and large bathroom. Because of the altitude there’s no a/c, just a vertical fan. Limited food options in hotel but a nice sunken bar and game area. There are several food options nearby that are easily walkable.
