NOT SKI IN SKI OUT

We had a great stay. Condo is neat and clean and decor updated. However it was not ski in ski out and very difficult for our family to get to and from the slopes. I think you should change the title in your listing so it’s accurate. We paid more money to have the ski in ski out feature especially since we have young children and were planning on leaving our car in the garage. We always make the best of situations and love skiing so we had a great time but our friends stayed two units down for half the price because their listing was accurate. Ugh.

Really adorable unit and so comfy but NOT ski in and out

This unit is really well decorated, well appointed (great appliances, blankets, beds, heaters, etc.) and was perfectly clean and easily accessible to check in and. The garage is a plus! However, if you are planing to walk to Canyon to get skiing, it’s definitely not right outside your door. Depending on how much stuff you schlep to the mountain, it might not even be walkable. But is a nice walk to the Village (without skis :). Loved our stay!

Mammoth Snow!!

An excellent location and well-appointed condo. Beds were comfy, space well laid out, kitchen well-equipped. Easy arrival and departure. Great communication with management company. We had the full range of conditions- sun, snow, blizzard. Wifi was totally out though! Easy distance to everywhere. Would recommend.

Great Stay

Really enjoyed our ski trip to mammoth. The beds were so comfortable and a real highlight of the stay there, especially after a long day on the slopes. Great location and met all our needs for the trip.

time to update kitchen pots/pans/bakeware

The property was exactly as we expected as far as the remodel and location. The only complaint we have is that the kitchen cookware looked like it was from a garage sale in the 1990's. There was no 9 x 13 baking dish, so we had to go buy one. Not much silverware, so we had to keep washing. Considering the nightly rate, we really thought the kitchen would have been better equipped.

Condo with Great location

This condo is about a 3 min drive to the ski resort and a great location if you want to ski! The place is a little dated but tastefully set up. Our big problems were that the door would not lock, there were dust balls and dirty dishes when we got there and the heating took a bit to start. Otherwise the space is very well set up and the rooms are large. The kitchen and dinning area are easy to use and a nice patio for the summer.

Nice Location

We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had all the goods. Nice family room. Comfortable beds, good pillows. Great location, very close to parking garage and easy to move in and out of. We would stay again if available.

Terrible management company.

When we arrived there was no power. The power was out in that complex, not in most of the city like the management company claimed. It was supposed to be back on by 4:30. It was not. We could not unload our things and groceries. We had a function to go to, so we found another place to stay. The power did not come back on until after 8 that night. They should at least refund our money for the first night and the cleaning deposit since we did not stay in the unit at all. I have reached out to the management company and they are ignoring my e-mails. All we want is a refund for the first night or at least the $175 cleaning fee.

I was here for a week. I really like it. The area is super quiet. I would like to suggest the owners to put more room games. They only have a pool. I wish they can add arcade games, football tables, air hockey, and many more. I'm planning to go next year!

Perfect for our ski trip!

This place was great for our group! The cabin was clean and cozy, and the kitchen suited all of our cooking needs. Most importantly, it was walking distance to Canyon so we didn't need to worry about parking. We would definitely stay again!

Clean and Contemporary

It is hard to find units in Mammoth that don't look like a 1970's time capsule. NOT THIS ONE! This unit is bright and airy with great views of the Sherwin Range beyond and is well appointed. The furniture (from couch to beds) are nicely done and very comfortable. We usually have to bring a lot of kitchen wares, but this place had everything and it was all in working order. All of the appliances were like new and worked flawlessly...even the Dishwasher. All of the TVs were smart TVs and very useful when the kids wanted to relax and watch Prime, Netflix, Disney, etc. All there...who uses DVDs anymore anyway. The unit is right next door to the coin laundry, so it was nice to not have to schlepp laundry to the office or a separate building. Very convenient! We arrived late in the evening and were able to get right into the condo. It was a bit challenging to find, because the directions were a bit hard to understand and the signage was not great, but once in, we got settled. We noticed two things that need to be addressed. First, the fan/light combo in the downstairs bathroom is uncontrollably loud and disruptive. It really just needs to be replaced with a proper light switch and the fan needs replacing. Second, the pocket door between the master and the downstairs bathroom was jammed and did not close all the way. This caused some light and sound to bleed into the master if the kids were using the bathroom. We emailed the property management company that night (since it was so late) and never heard back from them. Hopefully, they can fix those two items as that would make the stay absolutely perfect! The location is Walk Out and Ski Back. A short walk to Canyon Lodge down the hill. Coming back, use the Village Ski Back Trail off of Chair 7. If you can, avoid Chair 7 as it is slower than the old T-bar at what is now Chair 6. Try to get there from Chair 4 or from Schoolyard (Chair 17). The trail is groomed with some flat spots near the top, so snowboarders, get your speed up. We skied the trail until we saw some structures on the right and the Tennis Court Fencing Rods (no fencing). We were able to ski down to the road and walk to the condo. Takes a little getting used to, but is certainly a nice amenity. Trust me, you do NOT want to hike the hill back up from Canyon. Very challenging, especially if there is snow on the ground. We look forward to coming back and enjoying our time in Mammoth!
