Winterset Condo | Near Shuttle & Year-Round Fun!

Summary:

A family or group of friends visiting Mammoth Lakes will have a great time staying at Winterset #31, just off of Old Mammoth Road - right next to grocery stores and restaurants.



The Space:

Year-round activities can also be found close by. Summertime calls for hiking, biking, and golfing at the Snowcreek Golf Course. During the winter the free green shuttle service stops near Winterset and travels to the Eagle Lodge and the Village.



The living room is furnished with a plush sectional couch placed in front of a flat screen TV, BluRay DVD player and wood burning fireplace. After a day skiing and snowboarding down the mountain, light a fire and get cozy on the couch with a movie on. WiFi is also provided. A guest bathroom can be found around the corner for all guests to share. A washer and dryer are also handy for any longer visits. If the fireplace gets a little warm, open the balcony doors to step outside and enjoy the partial mountain view.



The kitchen is perfect for homemade meals and hearty breakfasts. There is a toaster, drip coffee maker, electric stove top, blender, pots, pans and more. The dining table has seats for 6 and there are 2 seats on the breakfast bar.



There are 2 bedrooms found down the hall on the main floor. The master bedroom has a King bed, a small mounted flat screen TV, and an attached bathroom for privacy. The guest bedroom has a Queen bed, TV, and attached bathroom. Upstairs is a bonus loft with a Twin over Full bunk bed, trundle, and TV. An office desk is also prepared for any last minute work that needs to be done, or for playing games on.



Winterset offers 2 assigned outdoor parking spots. The communal pool and BBQ stations are only open during the summer while the hot tub and the sauna are open year round.



Please note that requests for late checkout must be received no later than 10:00 AM local time on the day prior to your departure. Early check-in and late checkout are based on availability and require approval, and may be subject to an additional fee of up to $60.00 depending on the number of additional hours requested. Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in arranging.



This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.

Comfortable spacious place

This place is spacious. Convenient to nearby grocery store and restaurants. Shuttle stop is right in front of the community with short ride to Eagle Lodge. I would recommend.

Comfortable condo with everything we needed

Bigger than expected with comfortable beds and furniture. Quiet complex and easy drive to Eagle for skiing and Vons for shopping. Property manager was not always easy to communicate with and said they would bring some trash bags by, but didn’t. Not a big deal and will definitely return!

Great stay for a long ski trip!

I liked the location of the property, near the grocery store and along the greenline bus route. My overall score of this property would have been higher but the cleanliness of the property could have been better. Lack of attention to detail. For example, housekeeping forgot to pick up the soiled towels from the previous group (they were left in the laundry closet) and housekeeping did not check the dishwasher, there were dirty dishes.

This was a great place to stay in Mammoth -- conveniently located (close to downtown, right by shuttle stop for the mountain), very clean, easy check in process. We had a group of four adults and the space was perfect (& could easily accommodate more). The desk and table space were great for working, the kitchen was well stocked, and the open living room + balcony provide nice common areas. Overall I would recommend this listing!

The condo is decorated with a mountain theme throughout. Obviously well cared for by the owners with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The property manager was available for questions and very accommodating......a vacation rental done right!

Great space and location

Super comfortable and very well put together, with everything we needed, recently fixed up kitchen and baths all in great shape. When I saw the cast iron Kohler kitchen sink, I knew this was a place for real cooking, lots of good cookware, and that the owners still stayed here, (unlike many places around Mammoth, where owners are shoestringing upkeep to maximize profits, and running the units into the ground). Next time in Mammoth I'll look here first.

We loved the property. It is tastefully decorated and has all the necessary amenities. It is very close to shopping and a short drive to village and ski areas. Just keep in mind there is very little flexibility on checkout. Be prepared to checkout on time.

Perfect family spot...with one exception.

Loved everything, location, size, the updated baths and kitchen and the woodsy look of it. The big issue here is the kitchen is lacking some basic tools that making cooking easy. A knife set and newer frying pans would help things.

Fantastic vacation rental! Everything you want and need. Four stars above because I emailed rental company asking if we could borrow a hair dryer and never heard back. Also saw a lot of stuff under beds when we were leaving from other guests—pistachio shell, sock, kid’s toy, etc. LOVED this rental!! (Bringing in luggage/grocer is a bit of a trek from the car).
