The first news I got from host was internet down. Two people who were scheduled to come could not because they needed Internet that was promised for their work. They say a picture speaks louder than words so look at these pictures and if this is the kind of place that meets your standards, then you do you. Host refused to refund anything. Said I should have called to tell them to clean better. Didn’t feel comfortable with calling someone out for their filth.

Unlocked the front door walked in started checking it out, opened the refrigerator and it was disgusting. Salad dressing bottles with no lids on them, onions in 1 of the drawers that some kid liquid in there with them. Went and looked in the bathroom and there were 3 empty toilet paper rolls in the garbage can. Nasty, had not been cleaned. Tried to find another place, couldn't so we went back and the guy had rented it out, but doesn't want to give me my money back. I can live without it, if he can live with it. Good Luck if you rent it.

Rustic life

Convenient location for our needs. Back porch was wonderful. The bathouse was a great addition. Lighting the campground was beautiful at night.All the conveniences needed was at hand. Needs light bulbs in every light fixture. Upstairs could use a good sweeping.Mammoth Springs State Park was a great outing and great food about 4 miles up the road.

We rented this cabin for a bachelorette partyFor my future daughter-in-law and we were disgusted. Let’s start off with how it had a terrible smell. We then discovered moldy and old chilli and cinnamon rolls in the oven. The bed sheets were stained and nasty. There was mold in the shower, on the shower curtain, in the window, and probably other places around the cabin. The pull out couch was something I have never seen. Stains, crumbs, and mice droppings EVERYWHERE. There was mouse droppings and rat poison in the windows as well. The last night we were there we found fleas. My daughter actually has bite from them. There were ants crawling on the walls, the bath mat was stained and unwashed, and we had to buy essentials for the cabin our selves. We also had to buy our own sheets and blankets because we don’t believe they were ever washed. Amounts of food was left in the cabinets and fridge

stay was quiet and peaceful. on the otherhand wifi couldnt log in said was to many connections already? was coffee pot but no coffee the only bathroom is small. when wife went bathroom had leave door open because of small size.also it is down stairs and beds are upstairs. the stairs are steep

The Big Cabin

We enjoyed our 3 day stay. The Big Cabin was just right for the 4 of us. Really enjoyed the big back porch after a long day. If anything negative, it would be that there was only 1 bed that wasn't a bunk bed. Look forward to staying again.

Great weekend floating stay

Fantastic for the price point. We had to wash a few of the dishes before cooking with them and buy our own toilet paper and paper towels, but otherwise a very pleasant weekend getaway! Comfortable mattresses and A/C worked great.

The big cabin

The cabin needed tons of work. It also needed a good deep clean. A lot of old, out dated food in cabins as well as fridge. For the price, and no longer then we was actually in the cabin we dealt with it. We floated the Spring river. They picked us up from the cabin, and dropped us off. So for us it was well worth it. If you are bougie you will not be able to stay In The big cabin.

For two guys in their 20's-30's who only need a place to crash after fishing, it's OK. All bedrooms upstairs, BR is down stairs. Stairs are steep with 4-5 inch runners. If you have to get up at night to urinate, it's dangerous. Full of mice and mice droppings. Front door has to be almost kicked open. Dishwasher won't close unless you lift up the counter. Not a place for kids or wives. Full of other peoples stuff, like the owner's adult daughter was living there and only left because we arrived.

Rugged & Rustic Cabin

This is a great place for adventurous outdoor enthusiasts! Probably not appropriate for children under 5 & unaccommodating to most ladies—far too rustic. With the change of seasons, it could use a good spring cleaning—inside & out. The property is conveniently located right off of a 5 lane HWY (minutes from activities), and the backyard is welcoming & well maintained. The surrounding area is worth revisiting!

We had a wonderful time. Enjoy the cabin. Plenty of room for a guest of nine had all the kitchen equipment, refrigerator, stove, barbecue pit picnic benches as needed and some supplies were already there to have a really good gathering of friends the owner, Chris Gray has plans for putting in Amusement park For the kids and dog area. Which the owner is pet friendly we’re only a mile from the best fishing area in Mammoth Springs very close to our property in Cherokee Village which we have some undeveloped plan that we plan on making our place in the future. We definitely plan on going back this summer to the same cabin.🎣😎🏡🌞💗

Sadly Can’t Recommend

The Big Cabin has character & nice grounds, but I had to spend our first night cleaning. Everything was filthy. First sign was the fridge that contained a remnant of a piece of fried chicken, a dirty napkin, a million condiment bottles (some empty/expired), & something spilled. Next, kitchen counters & dish drying rack were sticky, so everything in it went straight to the dishwasher along with anything we thought we might need to use. Then the bathroom… hair(s) in shower & a dirty toilet… Bed linens appeared to be clean or else we would have found a hotel. Needs a complete cleaning top to bottom. Last hotel in this town wasn’t much better, so we had high hopes for a cabin rental. Wish I had listened to the bad reviews.
