“The house & bunkhouse were exactly what we wanted for our weekend. We did a combined bachelorette/Bachelor party weekend, so the boys stayed in the bunkhouse and the girls stayed in the house. The house has a large entertaining area that was perfect to play games and hang out all together. The patio & dock were also the perfect spot for hanging out with a beautiful view of the lake. This was the perfect little retreat location and we will definitely be back!”

I am a clean freak and it was clean enough - not perfect, but clean enough that I was very comfortable. 😊 The decor and design of the place was great - cozy, restful, quiet. “This place is cute, but man does it smell musty. I figured this would be the case given the other reviews, but wow. Definitely don’t suggest staying here unless you can keep some windows open. There’s clearly an issue with ventilation here. Too bad because it is honestly a cute spot and very well located. Otherwise, it’s fine. The master bed could use a replacement mattress or bed frame, we ended up using the other bedroom for this reason, which was fine just something to note if you toss and……

“Selfishly I don't want to give a good review so it is available for us whenever we want it. Two hours after we got there a huge storm came through and knocked the power out. They were very responsive and kept us up to date when the power was going to be back on. We were very appreciative of that.”

“This was a great place for my husband and me. It was super quiet, being the off season, and the little patio off the bedroom was nice for watching birds and listening to frogs in the pond. The kitchenette was just right for our needs. We like to go into Bellaire to grab coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Ruthann’s or get a meal at Short’s or The Corner Bistro. But I liked being able to put snacks in the little fridge. The walk-in shower was great and the sofa was a comfy place for a nap. We……
