“We stayed here for a long weekend with our UCONN student to give him a change of scenery and to spend some quality time with him. The Bungalow is conveniently close to campus, warmly decorated and has lots of activities to foster quality family time and memories. My son especially enjoyed adventuring out on the lake with the kayaks. There are also many hiking trails nearby that we enjoyed.”

“My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We had lots of space for my 4yo to run around and each of my 3 kids had their own room. The house was very clean and the host was easily able to contact if I had questions or concerns. We would def. stay here again”

“Overall we were generally OK with our stay! Improvements that would be appreciated: Upgrade Dining and Living room furniture, it was dated and in poor condition. Upgrade Kitchen Utensils, no cutting knife, poor quality and quantity of Pots and Pans , the two can openers did not work, it was very frustrating preparing meals. The silverware was low quality. Its hard enough to be away from our families working all week your experience did not fell like a home away from home but more of a cheep……

“House was nice. It had a lot of character. Updated kitchen and bathrooms. Loved the grand piano, and stained glass window and light in the hallway. Neighborhood was quiet and yard was nice. There is a walking trail right next to the house that cuts through to the local high school. I would recommend as a nice comfortable place to stay.”

“We enjoyed our stay at this cottage/cape /modern-style home. With several windows, including skylights, and two sets of French doors, there was tons of natural light. The area is quiet and peaceful. It was nice that we could see some of the lake across the street from inside the home. The location was about 15 minutes from Bradley, so perfect. Also, close enough to the highway and other towns but nestled away from everything so you don't hear any street noises. We were there for a funeral so we……

“Overall do not stay in this house! They are scamming people! They say they are military family yet took advantage of one!! Still owe me my refund and refuse to answer VRBO to give the okay to refund my money! This place was not clean it was very unsanitary and there were drug paraphernalia in the backyard! Towels wet and dirty on the bathroom floor and one of the bedrooms the sheets were dirty in the floor claimed that the house keeper cleaned it! The pool was disgusting!! I have videos pictures……

“We stayed here while visiting our family. The property was clean, quiet and exactly as described. The kitchen seemed well stocked. The huge washing machine/dryer was great after our cross country drive. There are just a few things to be aware of: the bathroom is on the second floor. The bed we slept on was not too too comfortable (a little firm for our tastes). The single bed was very firm. Other than that it was a nice place to stay.”

“Home was as advertised. Everything we needed was available. Owner was responsive. It worked very well as a short term accommodation for my family.”

“We were able to stay @ this location for several days just before the holidays. The space was perfect for the running around we needed to do and was a solid base of operation. The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom are well-appointed. We did not spend any time in the living room or outside areas. The water pressure in the shower is amazing and I could spend hours there. :) The home is on a busy road at commute times so take the owner's advice and K turn in the driveway to make exiting the home……
