“In a nutshell, the owner of this property is apparently a very respected and competent vintner. That being said, everything about this property (and I mean everything), plays a distant second fiddle to the winery. I think the unsubtle message is that guest rooms and the meagre facilities are clearly there solely to provide cash flow to the winery. Oenophiles will be absolutely fine with this but for everyone else, two days will be more than enough.”

“Stunning setting with a fantastic pool area, staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent and although they didn’t state on their menus that there are kids options, as they are published that evening when the chef has completed it, they do. The kids both had chicken schnitzel and chips, but could have had pasta also among other options. Breakfast typically Italian, cakes, pastries and fruits but also a range of cereals including muesli and bacon and egg. Room was……
