The beachfront Casa Leonessa is at a high level of furnishing and ideal for family vacations. It is at the end of an inhabited street. On the west side it borders mostly on scrubland, the other sides are urbanized, but hardly built on. The house is easily accessible by road. It is surrounded by a sunny garden with shady palm trees, bushes and trees.
A large sunny veranda with a large dining table, several shade places, enough garden and beach furniture enable life outside the house and on the roof with another dining table.
The house has a large, air-conditioned, contemporary kitchen with a central wood-burning stove (winter).
3 large air-conditioned bedrooms with 2 beds each. Double beds with mosquito nets if required.
1 large modern shower with double sink and 1 outside shower with hot water.
1 functional and fully equipped kitchen incl. Dishwasher.
In the closed area there is space for the PW. The house is equipped with all laundry and a washing machine, so that our guests only go on the trip with personal clothing and their favorite beach and bath towels.
All usual devices incl. Satellite TV and permanent internet with WiFi are available without restriction. The house is lockable and secured with an alarm system. The windows have fly screens.
A fixed garden grill is available. If it is not too hot, the roof terrace invites you to eat and linger with a distant view far over the Gulf of Taranto.
Suitability for 4-5 people (e.g. 2 adults and 3 children). No pets, no smoking.
An Italian-speaking local support will hand over and explain the house to you. It can be called up within a short period of time and helps if a breakdown occurs or questions arise.
Nearby, from June to September, fresh vegetables and a wide range of fruits can be bought very cheaply from the farm on every street corner. In the village center and in the nearby towns of Avetrana and Manduria you can find everything you need to buy. Nearby, very good restaurants invite you to enjoy the Puglies specialties and fish caught on site. Practically every day there are weekly markets in the area with attractive summer clothes, shoes and everything your heart desires.
4 kilometers away there is an extensive nature reserve with wild dune landscapes right by the sea. In general the sea is crystal clear, turquoise blue, very clean and further out very rich in fish. Divers and snorkelers get their money's worth here. The area withstands a comparison with Caribbean beaches here.
The house has been in Swiss ownership for 16 years. it is constantly renewed and has a high level of expansion.
