Family Trip

We gathered in Manteo for a family wedding and this home was perfect for our large group of grown kids from across the county. The pool was fantastic with lots of seating. And we enjoyed some ping pong and other fun games Lisa was incredibly responsive and helpful

Great place to unwind and relax! The house was stocked with anything we could need. It was clean and beautiful. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. It was close to a lot of good restaurants on the island and right off the island. Only small gripe was the proximity to a beach and the small pool. Other than that it was near perfect.

We had a family wedding to attend over the weekend and were so happy to make an extended stay of it. We appreciated the four night stay, the convenience of the location and the spaciousness of the home. It made for a most relaxing getaway with plenty of options for those that wanted more activity. We appreciated the quick response to our questions/needs. What quick resolution too. We would recommend and stay again ourselves.

Perfect blend of convenience, comfort, and family-friendly activities.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the rental property. The house was both beautiful and impeccably clean. While we encountered some initial difficulties with the WiFi—specifically, the password provided in the home's information and via email didn’t function—we managed to resolve this issue by using the password found on the router. The kitchen was well-equipped, allowing us to prepare most of our meals comfortably, and the outdoor gas grill was a welcome addition. However, be advised that a few of the beds were quite firm; those who prefer a softer mattress may consider bringing a mattress pad for added comfort. For families, there is no shortage of activities to keep children entertained. Our kids particularly enjoyed the pool and the ping-pong table. The property also came with a crab trap, allowing us to engage in catch-and-release crabbing off the dock—an activity that was both fun and educational. Additionally, we rented a two-person kayak and took full advantage of the nearby waterways. The location of the property is ideal, with all amenities and attractions a mere 10 to 15 minutes away. One of our favorite outings was to Coquina Beach, which is about 15 minutes from the house. The beach offered conveniences such as bathrooms and on-site lifeguards and was pleasantly uncrowded during our visits. In the evenings, we would often venture to Nags Head, less than 10 minutes away, for miniature golfing, go-karting, or shopping.

This is a great house in Manteo. If it wasn’t for the hurricane we would’ve had our boat with us and the house provides easy access to the sound. The house is very nice and every bedroom and bathroom were great. The kitchen is amazing for preparing larger meals for groups.
