"It's a cosy place and its convenient to access the lodge, as it just off the main road. They are also very eco aware and do their best to upcycle things. The staff, in particular Marcus, was fantastic at ensuring that we had everything we needed. The lunchbox we better than average and it was good value for money."

"Really enjoyed my stay at Tarangire Simba Lodge. The grounds backed onto the park. It was so exciting seeing elephants and other animals around the perimeter, drinking from a natural watering hole. The staff were lovely, and I was lucky to have the owner staying at the same time as they were so engaging and made my stay even better. Outside Tarangire, but a must stay if you're planing a safari in the park. "

"Poor entrance road, without signs, but the place was beautifully constructed with old huge wooden beams in the dining area, good food, beautiful grounds, nice pool and helpful friendly staff"

"They did not have our booking(pre paid) which is understandable somewhat because they are out in the middle of no where, but there was no attempt on the staffs part to help fix the problem. we ended up leaving 1.5 hours later than we wanted and paid with a Card(got a refund from Hotels.com). the hotel needs to have better service. The refund from hotels.com was easy and service on there side great."

"What an amazing experience! Sleeping quarters for 5 people were right but the price was right and space didn’t matter when waking up to zebras, wildebeests and monkeys in your front yard! Food was great, drinks were great, and staff was lovely. I saw some people complaint about hot water but it’s Africa! What do you expect?!! A cold shower was nothing to complain about when all that wildlife is passing through your camp! "

If you are looking for secluded, beautiful and restful, this could be the place for you. However it is located far from any town and further from many of the sites we chose to visit.
