「My sister and two nieces stayed from Auckland. It was a wonderful break with treasured family. We only used the hot tub once as we were so busy. Highly recommend.」

My only suggestion would be to bring your slippers as I got quite cold feet despite the heat pump, open fire and radiators in the bedrooms. The host was generally quick to respond and very helpful. 「It was unfortunate that we had heavy rain and the roof leaked. The whole place was damp and the carpet spelt of wet dog. We arrived to a mouse in the kitchen, and the ants moved in overnight. The managers were thoughtful and responsive, however, the place was really not fit for living. Sorry, wasn’t cheap either. All very disappointing.」

「Four of us (adults) stayed for a long weekend. The weather was rubbish so stayed a large part of that indoors playing games. The lounge was warm and spacious so it suited us just fine. The place sleeps nine which meant one of the bedrooms, i felt, was a bit cluttered with beds and hard to get around. Overall very happy and would stay again」

「 The character of the building is interesting, the setting is amazing, great privacy while still being close, access to the beaches is well formed steep track so great if you are able. Access to the house requires use of steps and there are some accessibility challenges. There is everything you could want to enjoy your stay. 」

「Was a bit small with our dog and the weather was terrible. But very cozy, tidy little place. One thing it needed was a TV. Great view of the pond with the ducks in front of the Tiny Away unit. 」
