Then again Muscat does not have an entertainment area of bars, discos, restaurants like other countries. Thus with the exception of the mall hotels few to nothing is walkable. This hotel give a great price for those of you who already have malls at home, so the mall hotels are really not special to you. “Mutrah central location is great for the touristic activities. For the remote Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, the reception was helpful in arranging a taxi. As the other review wrote, basement bar noise continued around 4 a.m. though I was on the 4th floor and the noise might have been bearable somehow. The reception seemed not familiar to the Expedia pre-payment arrangement. So, you may be better to have your Expedia booking confirmation handy. Hot shower needed more than 5 minutes to come out. “Well all reviews mention poor condition, but you should declare your most sincere experience for what you are paying and what you expect. I have stayed many 5* hotels but this furnished 2BHK apartment is excellent value for money, clean, good wifi, room service, clean toilets close proximity to shopping malls, restaurants surrounding etc. people should be realistic for what they pay &what they expect rather criticize otherwise. To me it was best stay with big family on holidays to muscat,……
