Spring Break 2024 Chillax Time

We did enjoy our time at Reel Deal. A very functional unit with enough supplies to accommodate your stay. Beds were a little on the firm side. Cleanliness upon arrival was mediocre. My daughter swept the floors as they were very sandy and some items were not as displayed in the listing. Kayaks were flat. The pool heater works amazing. I’d rather be hot than cold, but for some, it may be too hot. I, personally, enjoyed it. It was the perfect setting for an island vacay. Fishing was definitely not red hot as we did bring our boat. The chest freezer outside did not work, however was replaced within a few days. Property managers were quick to respond to our concerns. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, the weather was great, and we would definitely return. The pool was my favorite property perk;)

Great family vacation!!

House was perfect for the nine people we had - plenty of room, was super clean and stocked nicely. Pool was super clean as well, larger than the pictures make it look, and a great end to the day! Limited parking made it difficult for our larger trailer but property manager was quick to find a place for us to park it for the week - stayed in communication with us the entire time and we’re quick to answer our questions. Best property management we’ve ever dealt with! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great location

Great location, house was clean. It was a bit cramped with 8 people. The canal access is great, but it is very tight to get in the canal with a size-able boat. Be sure to hug the sea wall. I would also suggest an umbrella as there is no shade during the day/evening by the pool/along the water.

One word- Perfect!

Our stay was nothing short of amazing! The private pool and house was beautiful. My husband and I spent our anniversary in the home and could not be anymore convenient to everything. The layout for the home is perfect for a family vacation also. TVs in every bedroom which is really nice. The communication from the property manager was top of the line! Already booking our next stay in the home soon! 4

Decent little place

Great photography work, pics made place seem a lot more spacious. The place could use some TLC, needs minor repairs thru-out, nothing major. When we arrived the one garbage can was completely full and a window was left unlocked. The washing machine kept turning itself off throwing a code "uneven load" had to restart same load 3-4 times. A little worried about the front door, did not seal well and deadbolt didn't want to lock without lifting the door. Like I said earlier, needs some TLC and some sprucing up, I've stayed in a lot nicer places for the same money. And one thing that was really annoying which no one could help, we had weeds in the canal for a solid week. And after a week of not moving/flowing that stuff really started to take on an odor, blaming Mother Nature for that one... We all had a good time, love Marathon.

Cute Home

This older home has been newly remodeled. It was very clean and the pool was very nice. We actually ended up here after our original property had to cancel our reservations due to problems with previous guests. Luckily this happened to be open. We enjoyed seeing a family of manatee every afternoon. The boat access to vaca cut made it easy to reach both the Atlantic and the Gulf. It’s a bit snug in the living areas for a party of 8 adults, but a family with smaller children would be comfortable. My only complaint it’s the later (5:00) check in. It makes it really hard to pick up your rental boat before they close, get unloaded, feed the family and make a grocery run. All things this family tries yo get done on our first day so we are not wasting precious vacation time.

Week in the keys

We had a great week! This a was a perfect base for a week snorkeling, fishing and exploring the keys with friends and family. The approach to the canal is a bit tight with a larger boat but it's certainly doable.
