You’re right in the heart of the Island and right on the water in this 2,000 square foot, four-bedroom waterfront home. It sleeps eight, with one king bed, two queens, two twins and two bathrooms. It also comes with a two-car garage.

The interior was furnished under the theory that there’s no such thing as too much style or comfort. The rooms are tastefully decorated with seashells, lush ferns, and colorful fabrics to create an easygoing coastal feel. Sliding glass doors beneath arched windows brighten the space with natural light.

The deluxe modern kitchen features pendant lighting and barstools along the granite countertop. It comes equipped with all the modern appliances and cookware you need to prepare everything from a sit-down family dinner to a tray of cocktails to serve guests on the lanai.

The palatial master suite contains a shoji screen and television, and it opens up to the lanai, cooling you with fragrant breezes and sending you to sleep to the sound of wind-rustled palm trees. The ensuite bathroom features a bathtub beside a shuttered arched window with a garden view. The other bedrooms are every bit as inviting, with stylish décor and plenty of closet and drawer space.

The lanai overlooks a tranquil waterway lined with palm trees, and it faces south for a full day of sun as you swim in the heated pool. You’ve also got a gas grill, so the family barbeque chef will work overtime filling orders for all the poolside lunches you enjoy on the shaded table. After lunch, head down to your private dock and take out your boat or just lie back on a sun lounger watching for a passing dolphin or manatee.

No comfort or convenience is overlooked in this house. You’ve got air conditioning and heating, ceiling fans, free-wi-fi, cable, linens, towels and a washer and dryer. You’ve also got bicycles to explore the Island, along with beach essentials like beach towels, beach chairs, cooler and umbrella.

One of Marco Island’s most popular family attractions, Mackle Park, is just a short walk from the house. It’s filled with covered basketball courts, volleyball, shuffleboard, tetherball, a soccer field, and for the younger kids, a splashpad and an enormous jungle gym in a pirate ship-themed playground. Inside the community center, you’ll find two billiards tables, ping-pong and foosball tables and a large gymnastics area. There’s even a lake where you can take a scenic walk around.
