“It didn’t seem like the unit was cleaned before we stayed. There were food leftovers in the fridge from the previous guests, less than half a roll of toilet paper, and the floors were dirty. ”

“We are in Pella several times a year and prefer staying in the downtown VRBOs...this time, we hit the jackpot! Beautifully decorated and restored. The history of the building was a nice touch. Location was perfect. The neighbor was so sweet and helpful. The owners were easy to work with and responsive. We'll definitely try to stay here again on our next trip.”

“Kind and cooperative host. Check in was quick, flawless. The building is beautiful in a remarkable neighborhood of yesteryear. Walk a block to Smoky Rows for great coffee. Take a stroll past hundred year old houses with porches and fences of days gone by. Fully stocked kitchen, ample parking in front and back. Nice kitchen back door. Good lighting, solid mattress and large screen tv. Quiet residents too. We will be back.”

“Pros: - great location for easy access to surrounding Des Moines area. - Spacious apartment. Cons: If you like quiet, this place is NOT for you! you can hear traffic all night long and you can even feel the traffic go by as well, the floor and wall would even vibrate and rattle sometimes depending on the type of vehicle that goes by! I ended up wearing ear plugs to decrease the noise so I could sleep a little bit… The apartment flooring was not clean…there was debris under the living sofa. ……

“Great location, close to a lot of great spots in Des Moines. The condo had spacious 3 bedrooms with large closets. Living room, kitchen and eating area were good sizes, but we did not have enough seating for 6 when in the living room or around the small table. We were able to pull the 4 bar stools around the table (table was small). Host was very receptive when we were not able to get into the condo at check-in, she responded right away and got us right in. Overall, we had a nice stay, would be……
