「Going in early October this 5 star turns to a 3 star. Only the breakfast restaurant is open as fine dining is closed for dinners for the season. The hotel music played in the common area s all night waking us in our second floor room. The gas fireplaces in the court yard didn’t work and the hotel maintenance could not fix the gas supply. So all in all 3 star in October anyway.」

「Beautiful spot and breakfast was incredible! Highly recommend!」

「We stayed at Franziska Haus for two nights. While the property is beautiful and the host is lovely and welcoming, the overall experience falls well short of the luxury standards advertised. One of the biggest disappointments was the lack of soundproofing. We could hear practically everything happening in neighboring rooms throughout the night, with noise starting as early as 6:30 AM, including footsteps, vacuuming, cleaning, and general activity. This made it difficult to enjoy a peaceful and...

「We had a very comfortable stay. Nighttime was quiet, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Thank you. We had a great get away weekend!」

「Beautiful property, beautiful environment, gorgeous from top to bottom! Breakfast is excellent service. Amazing food, peaceful, quiet and surrounded by God’s beauty! Thank You」

「The setting is tranquil, with beautiful views, and the home itself is lovely. Our host was welcoming and gracious. The B&B is about two miles down gravel roads with fairly deep washboards, so guests should be prepared for a rough drive. We love staying at true bed and breakfasts, and for us, part of the charm is the experience of a thoughtfully prepared, homemade breakfast. Unfortunately, the breakfast we received was a bit disappointing—a scone, two strawberries, and five blueberries left us...

「The basement apartment in this home is absolutely beautiful. It is perfectly clean and more spacious for myself and my daughter than I was expecting. The owner is very kind as is his dog. We were very delighted to stay here, and would again in a heartbeat.」

「A cute little BnB. The furnishings are a bit dated, but it is an older house, so I suppose that is the point. I slept well as the neighborhood was very quiet. The outside garden was a bit of a mess, but inside was comfy/cozy. Lots of chairs to lounge in inside and on the porch/deck outside. Breakfast was cooked to order, copious and filling. A weird quirk though was that there was no bacon or sausage. Apparently, the place is meatless though they will cook it if you bring it, which was a bit...

「hostess Mary is very friendly, room was so clean and neat, has everything make you feel like home.」

「We had such a wonderful stay at A'Tuscan Estate. So quaint. So beautiful. Picture perfect. Super nice accommodations. Loved the apartment! We ordered our dinner to go and ate on the porch. The place had everything we needed. The breakfasts were outstanding. We felt so spoiled. It was truly a memorable weekend for us. Thank Erin and staff!」

「Great stay! The house is well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location easy walking to charming restaurants and interesting shops. LOVED the extensive breakfast options. Friendly neighborhood.」

「The studio cottage was the perfect place for me and my sister to spend four days getting to know Portland. Multnomah Village is centrally located in a very quiet neighborhood. It's close to freeways, restaurants and grocery stores, so it wasn't too difficult to navigate the area. Elie was a great host. He lives on the property, so he was there to assist and to advise. We also loved his animals, Noe & KeRe. We felt right at home.My only disappointment was that the pond that is advertised in...

「A marvelous stay, fabulous breakfast and a great owner who could not be more gracious and friendly.」
