As a Yooper who moved away, this took me back to simpler times (though the place has great ameninities).We spent our evenings watching the light flash from Granite Island Lighthouse. “Such a perfect spot. We took advantage of warm fall weather to kayak, and enjoyed sitting on the dock especially at sunrise. Watched a Bald Eagle feed along the shore. The house is roomy, casual, well loved and welcoming. Nicely stocked kichen and lovely views of the lake. Our dog loved the private yard, and lake too. Incredibly quiet and peaceful and well situated between the two ends of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore on a road ablazz with Fall color. Communication was great, check in……
