A little oasis in the madness and chaos. Typical stylish Moroccan decor. A fabulous breakfast was offered every day. You can order mocktails and fruit anytime. Simone gave us excellent service through out our stay and nothing was too much trouble … organising cars and booking restaurants etc.

Overall, I had a good stay at the Riad. The hotel itself was excellent—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff truly stood out, providing exceptional service throughout my visit. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making the experience even more enjoyable. Privacy is questionable! You must feel comfortable being treated like family next door. Breakfast was wonderful. The location is a major advantage, as it is close to many attractions and convenient once you arrive. However, getting to the hotel was more difficult than expected, and the immediate surrounding area was not very appealing or easy to navigate. Despite the challenges with access and the surrounding neighborhood, the quality of the hotel and the outstanding service made it a stay I would recommend.

Riad Livia is a beautiful and authentic Moroccan riad with a peaceful atmosphere, stunning courtyard, and very friendly staff. The inside of the hotel is much more beautiful than the outside streets around it. One important thing to know is that the riad is deep inside the old medina near Jemaa el-Fnaa, where the streets are very narrow and crowded, and taxis cannot reach the hotel area. You should expect a lot of walking, It can also be inconvenient for arranging transportation or tours. However, if you enjoy walking and exploring the medina on foot, then this is actually a very good hotel and a great authentic Marrakech experience.

The Riad is amazing. It’s a sanctuary away from all the madness Marrakech has to offer. The Riad is very well decorated and designed, cool in the day and just right at night. Super clean and the staff are always on hand to answer any questions, they really couldn’t do enough. Breakfast was perfect and on the roof terrace, a great way to start the day. Small plunge pool to cool down, with sun beds. Plenty of shade and cool spots should you want them. The owner has done an amazing job and you will have no complaints should you book this Riad. Easy to walk to the square, the staff even arranged for a simm on our arrival to help us get about. If you book the Riad you will not be disappointed.

Location: the Riad Livia is tucked away in the old Medina, just enough to be a peace haven but one only has to walk 5min to be immersed in the bustling walking streets of Marrakech, with the souk and the Jemaa-al-fna equidistant (15min walk). The taxi drop off/pick up is also very close. Our room (the suite) was of good size, with great decorations and charms. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good and generous to our taste. We would also recommend dining there. We did it for our first night and in the lovely settings of the Riad, it really set the scene for our break in Marrakech. The menu was full of flavour and generous. And the hospitality was fantastic. Youssef, Seymour and the team were real stars, professional, friendly.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this Riad and honestly could not have wished for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with incredible warmth and hospitality. The Riad itself is beautiful, peaceful, spotless, and full of authentic charm — the perfect place to relax and enjoy Morocco. What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the outstanding service from Mohamed and Jusuf. They went above and beyond every single day to make sure we felt comfortable and taken care of. Both were always friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. No request was ever too much, and they always helped us with a smile. They made us feel more like friends than guests. Mohammed was incredibly helpful with recommendations, organization, and making sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. Jusuf was equally fantastic — always positive, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. These two are a huge reason why this place feels so special. The breakfast was also absolutely incredible — easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had during a trip. Everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much care. Every morning was something we genuinely looked forward to. The atmosphere, the food, the service, and the people were all exceptional. This was easily one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had, and we would return without hesitation. Highly, highly recommended!!!

4 jours de bonheur dans le riad livia chambre fountain. L'accueil et le service sont excellents. Merci à la disponibilité et et la grande gentillesse de mohamed, youssef et toute l'équipe. Les lieux sont magiques, magnifiques et faits dans un goût exceptionnel. Le rooftop est génial et la petite piscine très agréable. J'ai passé un séjour de rêve et je reviendrai. Juste un point pour les futurs arrivants, il n'y a pas de fenêtre donnant à l'extérieur. Des travaux dans la rue en face ont un peu gâché le silence appréciable. L'excellent repas et le petit-déjeuner gourmands font totalement oublier les petites déconvenues.

Our stay at Riad Livia was absolutely amazing. We experienced great hospitality from all the staff members. Especially Simo, Yousef and Mohammad. They were all very pleasant, polite and professional.
