We wanted somewhere with access to cute little towns and hiking, but that also provided us that West Virginia woodsy privacy, and this spot was perfect! “Spacious and clean, gorgeous cabin with an amazing view! The bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped with all that we needed. About 40 minutes from harpers ferry but didn’t have any need to leave the property!”

“This newly built cabin stay was absolutely wonderful. We actually took pictures of the place in case we ever get the chance to build our own. There’s a nice stream at the bottom of the long driveway where we caught a few fish almost immediately. The host was wonderful and reached out to us to let us know we could check in early and stay late. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

“The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!!”

“This Coolfont cabin was the perfect weekend home for our family of four (and our dog). Friendly staff at the lodge welcomed us with giant smiles and answered all our of questions. The cabin was cozy and warm with ample space. Large, clean bathrooms. Especially loved the wood stove. We enjoyed the hiking and biking trails nearby, as well as the on-site restaurant, on-site pool and brew pub just across the street. Will definitely be back!”

“We were four family/friends away for a weekend of hiking and relaxation. The cabin is in a wonderful area with excellent prospects for exploring the outdoors. We hiked a small portion of the Appalachian Trail and also visited Harpers Ferry. We could have simply sat on the porch with a book as well, since the view is very relaxing. The host was attentive and helpful. Although our stay was short, we enjoyed our time at the cabin!”

“My stay was supposed to be with a small group of friends for my birthday. Unfortunately Mother Nature had other ideas. So it turned into a solo get away. I couldn’t image a better retreat. The owner was very responsive and clear. The house exceptionally clean and equipped. Property was ready when I arrived, and check in was simple and easy. Lots of wildlife watching. The hot tub was fantastic. I can’t wait to visit in the warmer months to take advantage of all the outside amenities. But if……
