“Very friendly staff. They had time for you, which I feel in this day and age is unusual. Breakfast to suit you! Very dog friendly ,also good dog walking around, with poo bag dispensers and bins strategically placed around the village”

“The Oak Inn at Staplow is a really nice place to stay. Very friendly, Food is lovely, Our room was clean lovely comfy bed. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits. Breakfast you choose what you wanted and it was all cooked fresh for you. Great Place glad we found it.”

“This is a converted coaching inn at the junction of a few roads. Easy parking, good breakfasts and dinners, plenty of character. A bit of a downside if you’re a light sleeper with the traffic and kitchen exhaust system. Otherwise, easy place to stay.”

“Parking can be a problem if arriving later in the evening. Follow instructions given by owners. Breakfast is great staff friendly and helpful. Keep entry instructions handy as had a little trouble finding codes. Rooms 7 and 8 are not where you'd think !”

“Eckington Manor is a lovely hotel with very nice rooms, set in beautiful grounds, a short distance from Cheltenham. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As the hotel is a little remote, we decided to eat in the hotel. The food was excellent as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend and will no doubt return if we are in the Cotswolds.”

“Beautiful location and view from our little balcony over the first Tee and 18th hole. Took my partner for his 50th and we had a lovely couple of days, the beers cold and the food was lovely. Had a round of golf which was challenging as very hilly and mostly blind holes. Great few hours out on the stunning course in sunshine though. Wharton has left the golf company group recently and has moved to new owners, both seemed lovely and have some exciting improvements in mind, the staff already seem……

“We thought the breakfast buffet choices were limited, however the cooked breakfast was hot and plentiful. The staff were very efficient. Dinner was most enjoyable in a lovely dining room and the bar service was very good. Upon arrival we were given a room upgrade with a four poster bed, this was a lovely surprise. Parking was onsite without additional charge. If you are planning on walking the Malvern Hills this Hotel is in the perfect location.”
