Just 15 miles from Alton Towers and with cycle paths, stately homes and watersports abound, there’s something for the whole family here.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen/dining room: (1 Step), Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher

First Floor:

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil underfloor central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair.Telephone-honesty box. Enclosed courtyard garden with summer house and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 small cars. No smoking. Please note: Fireworks are not allowed in the garden or the grounds of this property.. A really enchanting, detached, village holiday cottage with views to sheep-grazed, craggy hillsides and within a 2-minute stroll of a couple of village inns, both serving food. The interior is a work of love and provides a real home from home. Carsington Lake, 2 miles, offers RYA sailing, canoeing, wind surfing and fishing, and there are extensive cycle paths around the lake and on the High Peak Trail nearby. Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton are all within half an hour’s drive, while Alton Towers is just 15 miles. Pony trekking, 5 miles. Wirksworth, 3 miles, has a full range of shops.

Lovely summer break

Beautiful old cottage with enclosed courtyard garden, perfect for a gin and tonic once the kids are in bed. Brassington a quiet but friendly little village, the perfect stop to explore the Peaks.
