This house really is a hidden gem. The property is very spacious and set amongst beautiful grounds full of olive trees with stunning panoramic views. There is plenty of outdoor space and ping pong and table football and a BBQ. The beach is a modest walk or cycle to the beach and a very short drive into the town which really comes alive in the evening. The beach close by is beautiful with crystal clear seas and a range of reasonably priced bars. The host, Leonardo, is incredibly helpful and hospitable - always on hand to help if needed. I would absolutely recommend this property if you’re looking for an affordable but comfortable holiday.

amazing view, close to town yet quiet ....just perfect

Leonardo's place is a beautiful sanctuary just a 5 minute drive along a country road through an olive grove from down town Mattinatta. We sat each morning on the balcony and ate breakfast while looking out over the olive grove, the town of Mattinatta, the sea and the local mountains. And as our phones will attest to, "picture perfect", as it appears we took a lot of photos every time we sat there. The Apartment was clean and is well maintained and Leonardo was always available via whatsapp to answer questions and immediately responded to request. The town of Mattinatta was an excellant choice as a base for our 5 days in the Gargano area. Should we be lucky enough to return to this area we will definitely be looking for vacancy at Leonardo's place. Thank you Leonardo for our stay at your beautiful location.

Wir haben uns in der sauberen und ruhigen Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Vom Balkon hat man einen schönen Blick auf das Meer. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Mattinata ist gut gelegen, um schnell schöne Ausflugsziele zu erreichen. Auch der Ort selbst hat uns gut gefallen.

Eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung, idyllisch in den Olivengärten gelegen. Leonardo der Gastgeber äußerst nett, gibt gerne Tipps und ist wie seine Schwester sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ruhig, Strand, Restaurants und Natur in der Nähe. Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, man schläft gut, Bad sehr gut und Terrasse und Balkon ootimal. Wer einen entspannten Urlaub sucht ist hier hervorragend aufgehoben. Apulien unverfälscht auf hohem Niveau. Leonardo war interessiert, woher wir kämen (Nähe Wiesbaden) und es hat sich herausgestellt, das er die Familie des Schulfreundes unseres Sohnes, die aus Mattinata kommt und in Wiesbaden den Pizza Express am Kaiser Friedrich Ring betreibt, die Familie La Torre kennt. Ottima soluzione per vacanza a Mattinata

Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Il luogo è tranquillo e silenzioso, esattamente quello che desideravamo. La casa per cinque persone non è molto grande, ma è dotata di un ampio spazio esterno coperto con tavolo per pranzare e biliardino. È abbastanza attrezzata e per quello che mancava (tagliere, attrezzi per barbecue, caffettiera grande) il signor Leonardo ci è venuto prontamente incontro.

Vacanza a Mattinata

Il Sig. Leonardo è molto disponibile e gentile nel fornire consigli e supporto per il soggiorno. La casa è molto luminosa, pulita con un comodissimo, curato e coperto spazio all'aperto. La stanza matrimoniale è spaziosa, mentre le altre due stanze sono un po' più piccole. Barbecue in pietra all'aperto che abbiamo utilizzato più volte. Consigliamo visita in barca alle grotte della zona di Mattinata e a Monte Sant'Angelo.

Bellissima esperienza bravissimo Leonardo il proprietario

Bella casa situata in campagna attorniata da un uliveto ma allo stesso tempo vicinissima al mare raggiungibile anche a piedi o con le biciclette messe a disposizione dal proprietario. Leonardo si è dimostrato una persona squisita e accogliente e attenta anche alle piccole necessità che può avere un villeggiante. Esperienza positiva da ripetere. La casa è dotata di tutto il necessario.

Siamo appena tornati dalla fantastica vacanza a Mattinata, dove abbiamo soggiornato nella stupenda casa di Leonardo. Noi eravamo nell'appartamento al piano terra, arredato benissimo, funzionale, molto spazioso, eravamo in 6, completamente accessoriato. All'esterno avevamo a disposizione un patio con tavolo e sedie e un fantastico barbecue, dove abbiamo passato gran parte delle nostre serate guardando le luci di Mattinata e le migliaia di stelle. La casa è immersa in un meraviglioso uliveto e dista 5 minuti di auto dal centro di Mattinata e 10 minuti scarsi dalle spiagge, quindi è tutto molto comodo e raggiungibile in poco tempo. Un ringraziamento particolare al proprietario, Leonardo, che ci ha accolto splendidamente e ci ha consigliato in tutto...una persona veramente cordiale, affabile e simpatica. Consiglio sicuramente questa abitazione a chi è alla ricerca di relax senza rinunciare alle comodità. Simona,Alessandro e company.

Bellissima posizione e confortevole

Siamo una famiglia di 5 persone più un ospite ed era la nostra seconda volta in Gargano. Abbiamo occupato l'appartamento di 3 camere in questa bellissima casa posta in posizione sopraelevata in faccia a Mattinata, a 1Km dal mare in mezzo agli uliveti. L'abbiamo trovata all'ultimo momento. Il proprietario, sig. Leonardo è stato di una squisita ospitalità e premura. La sua gentilezza ed amore per la sua terra espressa nei consigli che ci ha dato ha fatto si che la nostra vacanza di due settimane fosse piacevolissima. La casa ci è stata consegnata in perfetto stato, pulita e con tutta la biancheria in ordine. Alla fine della settimana il sig. Leonardo ci ha preso i teli da bagno per lavarli, la biancheria da letto e gli asciugamani e ce ne ha forniti di nuovi. Da consigliare, specialmente ad una famiglia con bambini o ragazzi. A disposizione biciclette, grill, tavolo di ping pong. Mattinata è una tranquilla cittadina di ca 7'000 abitanti dove si può trovare di tutto. Nel raggio di 30 Km ci sono le più belle spiagge della Puglia. A meno di un'ora di auto si sale alla foresta Umbra al fresco fra i faggi. Posizione incantevole e tranquilla per una vacanza sportiva o di assoluto relax. Dovessimo ritornare in Gargano sicuramente rifaremmo questa scelta. Fam. Barchi, Lugano, Svizzera

Would just like to say that me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week holiday at Leonardo's villa. He is extremely helpful and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Great beaches, scenery and the nightlife in the town with the festivals etc. is typical Italian. Was great for me as was close to Foggia where my family come from so all in all was very happy. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to go back next year. If your looking for a villa at a really competitive rate look no further, Americo Campanaro (UK)

Vacanza tranquilla in mezzo agli ulivi

Contesto naturalistico vario e adatto ad amanti della tranquillità. La sistemazione offre la possibilità di visitare nelle vicinanze diverse spiagge caratteristiche del Gargano tutte raggiungibili in pochi minuti di auto.Casa immersa in un grande uliveto poco fuori Mattinata. Stupenda vista mare soprattutto dal tetto utilizzabile come terrazzo. Appartamento molto pulito e funzionale; proprietario attento, sempre disponibile e gentilissimo. Spazi interni alla casa adeguati per una famiglia. Da segnalare i giochi a disposizione dei ragazzi calcio balilla e ping pong e biciclette. Un grazie caloroso a Leonardo per la sua accoglienza.

una vacanza perfetta

Appena arrivati dopo un viaggio di non pochi chilometri (Padova) ci siamo subito resi conto che tutto coincideva con le nostre aspettative se non di piu. Appartamento pulito, propietario disponibile e accogliente. Posto bellissimo immerso in un uliveto e tanti bellissimi alberi di limoni . Dalla terrazza si vedeva il mare che dava un senso di tranquillita' e pace . Abbiamo alloggiato una sola settimana ma siamo comunque riusciti a visitare diverse spiaggie consigliateci. Puoi andare a Vieste anche solo per farti una passeggiata di sera , oppure Monte sant'Angelo a pochi chilometri da Mattinata ( paesino caratteristico ) . Che dire ..e' stata una bella settimana !!! Appartamento piacevole e spazioso

L'appartamento al piano terra nel quale abbiamo soggiornato è ristrutturato di recente. Si compone di un'ampia zona giorno, una camera da letto matrimoniale, una camerina a due letti e un bel bagno. La cucina è dotata di tutto il necessario, con stoviglie in abbondanza. E' presente anche un caminetto funzionante e un barbecue. All'esterno tavolo, sedie, sdraio ed ombrellone. Parcheggio privato gratuito. La palazzina è divisa in 3 appartamenti e si trova appena fuori Mattinata, verso il mare ed il Monte Saraceno. Il proprietario, il Sig. Leonardo, è disponibile e carino. Immobile assolutamente consigliato: un'oasi di pace dopo le giornate al mare ed in giro per il Gargano.

Very nice and spacious apartment with a view

We rented the apartment on the first floor with the big balcony. From there we had a view on the olive trees and the sea. The kitchen was very well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpfull. Comfortabel vakantiehuis

Wij verbleven in deze vakantie woning van 6 t/m 13 september 2014. Een mooi, ruim huis, in zeer goede staat, compleet ingericht en schoon. Mooi en rustig gelegen tegen een helling in het landelijk gebied van Mattinata. Strand op ruim 1 km afstand. De eigenaar is plezierig in de omgang, heel betrouwbaar en service gericht. Een echt gastheer.
