Cabin is located on one of the seven bends of the Shenandoah River. Located in a private serene area in between Strasburg and Woodstock. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, wineries, and breweries.

The Log home is situated on a beautiful one-acre lot with waterfront access! The gorgeous property is surrounded by mountains and nature. The property allows for outdoor activities and fire pit.

The inside of the cabin has beautiful log interior, 2 screened porches, and large deck. 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, twin trundles, sofa bed. Screened porch. Fully functional/stocked kitchen. 1 bathroom. Laundry room on main living floor. Gas grill direct connect to house propane.

There is a low-lying bridge you have to cross to
get to the neighborhood. Snow should not impact
crossing, as people live there full time, but the
A rare, heavy flood would present a problem. We try to keep an eye on water levels and give notice if it might become impassable, coming or going, but
Occasionally, a flash flood surprises us.

This property was as advertised- absolutely stunning! It was very clean and comfortable. The cabin was well equipped, Beds were quite comfortable and the back deck was awesome for sitting out in the evening and star gazing.

This is a must stay! This is the 4th property we have visited along the Shenandoah River and so far the only one we would return too. Property was well maintained. House was very comfortable and offered great views of the river. It’s is perfectly situated to do some floating down the river.

Cabin retreat

Jennifer's cabin is beautiful! Rustic but modern and roomy. Inside the cabin and out. The front screened in porch is wonderful for hanging out without bugs and kand it keeps the dirt outside. The back screened in porch is large enough for the whole family to relax and listen to the birds and wait for the beautiful dusk sky. And the deck is huge with a gas fire pit on on it.The yard is beautiful all and stretches all the way down to the river. There's plenty of space for outdoor games. The hot tub is nice and big and under the deck so the rain doesn't come down on it. The bedrooms are big and the mattresses are very comfy. The kitchen is well stocked too! The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Our host Jennifer was very responsive. She got back to us almost immediately when we had questions. I absolutely recommend Jennifer's cabin for a perfect vacation, long or short.

Cozy, Comfortable, Peaceful

We had a wonderful fall visit at this great cabin. Like others have mentioned, I don't think the pictures really do this place justice. The cabin is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. It has everything you could possibly need. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable. The back screened porch was our favorite spot for enjoying a drink and the view of the river. We look forward to going back when it's warm enough to go tubing! Be sure to heed the warnings about critters. We saw deer, squirrels and rabbits -- and smelled a skunk (but thankfully did not see him -- the scent was plenty!).

Comfy and convenient.

Nice cabin with a big yard and a hot tub. 1/2 Hour drive to North gate of Shenandoah National Park. The weather didn’t cooperate with us unfortunately and we did have flooding over the bridge for a couple of days. If the weather is threatening, make sure you have groceries! Other than that it was very nice and the residents we met were very nice.

Wonderful Experience

This home was actually much better than the pictures show. What a beautiful location with so much room in the actual house. Even though we had to leave a day early due to weather, it was the most relaxing place. We would absolutely choose this house again. I own a VRBO property myself, and can’t say enough great things about this place.

Beautiful Property

Property is well maintained and stocked with everything you need (tubes, chairs, pots, pans, etc). Everything was surprisingly clean (even with my wife’s high standards). The highlight of course is the beautiful yard and tremendous access to the river. Our 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed the loft and experiencing the outdoors. I would fully enjoy staying here again.

Great Place on the River

We had a great stay at this cabin for Memorial Day weekend. Beautiful cabin, well taken care of, and clean. The river access was what drew us here - shallow stone beach area for a child and small dog to easily access the river. Short 10 minute walk up to the tube put-in, nice 50 minute ride on the river back. The owners were quick to respond to a minor issue we with some neighboring campers using the property when we got there. Will definitely stay here again!

Great riverside cabin

This cabin was a gem. Beautiful property, well maintained. Cozy inside with great outdoor spaces and deck. Our kiddo loved sleeping in the loft bedroom. Loved the cozy fireplace, the hot tub. The hosts were wonderful, and when we had a issue turning on the gas fireplace, they came right over to light the pilot and fix it. We would love to come back in summer to enjoy wading in the river. The perfect getaway

What a wonderful vacation cabin!! Carefully thought out and equipped with everything you need to make a memorable vacation, even if it rains the whole week like it did for us! We just adored the place and quite honestly didnt want to leave. We had planned to go out exploring and never did because we enjoyed our time at the cabin so much. The hot tub was perfectly wonderful to relax in. Listening to the river rush by and birds singing their songs. Watching turkeys strut along the river, a bald eagle soared through and landed, a great blue heron, plenty ducks and geese, squurrels, and even a few deer graced us with their presence. We hope to have many happy returns here, especially in summer so we can float the river too!!

Amazing family trip!!!

This was an overall amazing family get together!!! We try to reconnect as a family atleast once a summer in this area and it was a trip we'll remember a long time to come. We were a little worried it wasn't as private as we would have liked but the neighbors were all respectful of eachother and we didn't bump into anybody else our entire trip. Its a gorgeous setting, gorgeous yard. We were able to watch deer drink in the river and go across the yard. We tubed down the river a ways. Its shallow enough to walk back easily with the littler ones who are 9. The cabin is beautiful and cozy. It was spacious enough for us all to have our own space when needed which was good for my older son and his fiance whom joined us. The cabin is perfect and the master bed was unbelievably comfortable. The little ones and my teenage son shared the loft together and all had plenty of room. I enjoyed the covered porch and read in my free time. The hot tub was a plus because it was a little chilly for the time of year on the river so it was perfect for warming up. I would strongly reccomend this cabin for families!!!
