“The property was close to so many things, able to go for a walk thru the neighborhood and felt very safe. Would highly recommend. Staff was very friendly and helpful..”

“Beautiful site and great room. Ice machine is broken in the bldg I was in and it was 93 degrees. Was instructed to go to main bldg for ice. NOT!! Very disappointed I’m handicap and there was no one there to assist me. Very disappointed in that especially. I can live without ice, but no help is frustrating. No one is in this bldg to help people with handicap ( bringing luggage to and back to vehicle ) , guess I could have called. I felt very isolated, but some people may really like that. Food……

“Very nice additional space for sitting, separate from the bedroom. Loved the Jacuzzi tub in our room. Very nice for the price and great location!”

“Dirty, safety was a concern, no breakfast as described. Not that I would eat what they offered. I'm sad I spent my hard earned money there. It shouldn't be open.”

“The air worked in the room on a hot day and there weren't bed bugs... the air in the rest of the building didn't work and the bed skirts and carpet were filthy... that is about all there is to say about that”

“During our stay, the room was decent, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was ok. I did not receive the room that I thought I had booked and was upgraded for an extra charge of $50.00 for a room with a "better bathtub". Apparently "Expedia " has the picture wrong on the site, and the room that I was expecting was " down for repairs " for another week. Had I known this, I would have stayed somewhere else that was nicer quality for the 400 I paid for 2 nights in a sub par hotel. The……

“The room I was in had a broken shower head--I did report it to the front desk immediately after check-in It was never looked at for the three days I stayed. The property was in a nice quiet location and had some outdoor grills for the client to use.”

“Very nice property! Never stayed here before. Great out of the way, but close, location for Valley Fair, Canterbury Downs and the Mystic Lake Facilities. Will definitely stay again in the future.”

“An excellent option. Quaint boutique hotel with restaurant and bar. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff are amazing, friendly and really helpful. Their restaurant have a lot of gluten-free options. I recommend it!!!”

“its a good place to stay for the price. staff is very friendly and they they have put a lot of time and effort into making this property great. it is an old building and there definitely needs to be some upgrades done. if you need a place on a budget its the perfect spot. my room was clean and the bed was comfortable. breakfast was limited but for the price and on a holiday weekend it is more than ok.”
