Mit Kuchen und Blumen begrüßt zu werden war noch das i-Tüpfelchen. Das Haus ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen, umringt von Schafen und Kühen mit Blick auf den Lough Carra. Wer die Natur und die Ruhe liebt und nachts den schönsten Sternenhimmel sehen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Vom Angebot des Angelboots haben wir keinen Gebrauch gemacht, da wir keine……

“On a three week trip to Europe this was our overall favorite rental.From the moment we opened the door we felt instantly comfortable and at home. The entire place is well appointed, well lit, and spotless. Check in, parking, and communication with the host was a breeze, and my only regret is not booking a longer stay. “Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. ”

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase.……
