October at Pool House Lodge is the best time to be here. Leaves peak mid-to-late October in Hocking Hills — Old Man's Cave and Ash Cave look completely different this time of year. Worth the 25-minute drive just for that.
The pool stays at 82°F regardless of weather. Hot tub seats eight. The Breeo fire pit has room for the whole group, and October nights call for it.
