「This cottage is just as advertised. Well equipped, beautiful quiet location. We walked, kayaked, went into town to explore. We spent our down time on the screened in porch which was fantastic. Internet was not workjng when we arrived and a service call was placed. The outage was due to the satellite dish being moved, NO fault of the owner!! Carol was very responsive in expediting the repair.」

「My family's weekend stay at this cottage was wonderful. The property has everything you could ask for, and the children loved the outdoor playground, and getting out on the lake. It didn't hurt to wake up in the morning to that gorgeous view, either! Our only regret was that we hadn't booked a longer stay - would definitely return for another visit!」

「We had a great stay here! Lots of room, well stocked with everything we could need. Private location but close to calabogie ski hill in winter and some great roads for motorcycles in summer! Trails to walk the dog outside and a cozy wood stove inside. Very responsive host. Thank you, it was hard to leave」

「Rustic charm meets modern accommodations. This place had everything we needed, a nice warm inviting feeling as soon as you stepped inside the door, steps away from shops and restaurants and a quiet environment to relax after a day out. I will be coming back.」

「We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts are wonderful - friendly, flexible, accommodating, great communication. Cozy, comfortable cottage, with everything ready for a fun time. We appreciated having access to a few different boats, as well as the library and games room. The lake is beautiful, with a charming little town nearby. The water was very calm when we were there, and we saw a ton of fish jumping. There are other cottages close by on the property, which limits privacy somewhat.」

「There are a few awkward places to step, like by the bbq corner of deck, not a lot of room for error, very easy to misstep and fall off the deck and land on the stairs. And getting from the land onto the dock, had be careful not to slip with the gap. But other than those minor things to be aware of, the cottage was wonderful. 「Beautiful home with lots of bedrooms and living space. Large front yard with lots of decks overlooking water and dock. Hot tub is close to house with gazebo. Owners were very helpful with questions and home well stocked with necessities you may have forgotten. The private bunkie is nice for those who want to spend some time alone. Pet friendly which was very important for us with 2 small dogs.」

「Property is beautiful and the rooms are great. Only problem was A/C was obnoxiously loud and needs maintenance for sure. Lots of rattling. Also small thing but I am a solo female traveller for work and there's a rule in hotels to not say a guests room number out loud and the desk agent said it out loud. Something to consider for the customer service staff. 」

「We had an end unit with a large tub. Everything was clean and well put together. Tv was very large which was nice. It was hot when we stayed and the air conditioner worked great. The tub was pretty nice, only thing was when the jets were on they splashed the water around and made a little mess. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, pretty basic spring mattress. No top cushion. The owners were very friendly. Overall, we had a great stay. 」
