“Relaxing, quiet and clean neighborhood. Love the retro decor. Kitchen is well equipped for those that might want to cook. A few branches were down in backyard, furniture wasn't set out yet such as outdoor dining table and chairs or gazebo, but overall property was in good condition. Thank you for a relaxing place to stay.”

“We had the pleasure to stay here for 5 days and what a wonderfully cozy home! Everything was so easily comfortable, all is exactly as posted, the location on the water is incredibly peaceful, the hot tub is a huge plus, and our stay was completely enjoyable. The owner was extremely responsive throughout the booking and even easily helped us extend our stay by a day (how much we liked it!). Highly recommend!”

“What a lovely experience! Host was helpful and responsive. House is large and well appointed, perfect for our group of families. Kids had a few spots to play and have a safe “sleepover” experience. Lots of space to lounge, play and eat. It’s winter so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space, but we talked about wanting to come back and enjoy the yard and short walk to the lake and all the amenities of downtown. “It was a perfect location and plenty of space for family of 8 plus visiting friends. Mike was a great host and we got to enjoy some firewood he had set up for us to have a fire. Highly recommend! The description says 4 bathrooms and there are 3 bathrooms…the only discrepancy.”

“Cute little place with awesome views of the lake!!! All the amenities needed, very nicely decorated, and comfy beds! Personal parking spot a great plus! Some maintenance required though and a funny smell that was not pleasant to come back to. We had to buy a candle to drown out the smell and one family member with autoimmune health struggles had difficultly with this.”

“The proximity to Great Lakes Recruitment Center, Sarge’s Meet & Greet, restaurants, etc. is perfect. We were in town for our son’s boot camp graduation and knew we wanted more room to hang out than a typical hotel room would offer. It was great to be able to relax, watch movies, just hang out with our sailor for the precious two days we had. This place has location, location, location if you’re coming in for boot camp graduation.”

“We were in North Chicago for PIR. It is less than 2 miles to the ceremony (we walked to avoid traffic and parking), there are ample rooms and beds for a family crew. Space to cook and serve and lounge about while your sailor decompresses. Restaurants are near enough (we got pizza from LouMalnatis in Gurnee), and grocery stores were close too. Communication was spot on, every time I had a question, they were on top of it (no issues, just questions)”
