“We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming VRBO property, and I must say, it was a truly restful and rejuvenating experience! The moment we stepped inside, we were struck by the immaculate condition and delightful decor of the place. The owners have done an excellent job of creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making us feel right at home. The property's location on Lake Erie was simply stunning, with a unique rock cliff and miniature waterfall added to the tranquil ambiance.……

“It was cold early April. At night around 29 degrees, but up to 65 in the sunny afternoon. We were two couples and a dad with an 11 year old, which was an awkward fit for the space. The 11 year old was very happy with the small porch room with the day bed. The 56 year old dad tolerated the small upstairs room that was the gateway to the huge attic bedroom, where I and my partner slept. You do have to trek though that room and down stairs a way to the bathroom. There isn't heating up there that we……

“This house was perfect for our stay in Erie. Gathering for my parent's memorial service, we needed multiple houses in Erie to help accommodate our family and Janelle's properties were ideal. Not only was this house located with a beautiful view of Lake Erie, but it had an open floor plan that was perfect for our traveling guests. Janelle is a gracious host who always responded quickly to any questions or request. I highly recommend this property and will reach out to Janelle again the next time……

“Neat little place, close to everything. There is a small issue of tiny ants in kitchen...Parked in driveway, but could have used the garage if we wanted. Neighborhood nice, all well kept homes. Very old house that makes it charming.”

Gave us lots of flexibility to have our own quiet space at the end of a busy day of playing with our granddaughter. Most everything provided for a home away from home experience. “The house is listed as a mansion. It did not meet my impression of a mansion. It is beautif on the inside but needs some updates. The space for the kids and all the different areas was great. The grounds were under repair and there was no private outdoor space. We did not realize, but there was no bathtub. The property manager was wonderful.”

“We booked this for the solar eclipse of 2024. The house was perfect! We had the best of both worlds, lake view but close enough to the hustle and bustle of downtown Erie. Plenty of room for our group that we went with. Inside was up to date and the backyard was amazing! It was clean and well stocked, maybe adding a few more drinking glasses would be a good addition. We would definitely recommend this house on Lake Erie, and will keep it in mind for future trips!”

“Likes: Very nice accommodating staff, clean and bug-free room; nice facilities and amenities; very good breakfast. Not so much: the shower door was missing a bottom gasket, so I had to clean up some water. I did report it and it will be fixed. ”
