「We had a nice stay here for 3 nights while visiting family in Limerick. Pat is a terrific host and very quick to answer any questions we had. 」

「Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...

「We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful! Our lovely host, Marion, shared the rich history of the barricks with us and we were amazed at how much work went into restoring the property. 「A peaceful quiet spot to relax and enjoy the country. Enjoyed the farm tour and meeting the animals. Our host Barbara was great. Close to local sights and easy to get to. Overall a very nice place to stay 」
