“The property is spacious and beautiful in an idyllic setting. The gardens and pool were glorious and the sauna was a real plus. We were a large family group and all ages had a wonderful time. However the following impacted upon our stay. The house was really grubby on our arrival, particularly the kitchen, and did not seem to have been cleaned since the previous guests had left. “Wow wow wow, we absolutely loved this little find, 'The Stable' is a beautiful place to stay, the surroundings are stunning, the accomodation is clean, beautifully furnished, excellently equipped and the host was lovely. The road leading up to the property is a bit of a bumpy one with a few potholes but the hosts prepare you for that in the well informed directions to the property. We will DEFINITELY be returning again next year, just perfect.”

“I liked this glamping POD, it was cosy with a working toilet and shower. The hot tub was excellent, we spent a lot of time in it. It was not inflatable but a real one that could hold 4-6 people. “If countryside views are your thing then this is the place for you. Uninterrupted views across the valley showing off the best Wales has to offer. The accommodation itself is of good standard with a good kitchen and utility, and a spacious conservatory to enjoy the views over breakfast or dinner, (only negatives are; the 2nd shower room is very small, no King beds, bbq is old and small). “It’s not worth the price we paid, we booked for 11 person but the bed can only accommodate 10 person that my son end up sleeping on the floor , upstrair toilet floor is leaking down to the kitchen, we emailed the host on the first day but no reply til we check out, So we have to share the the down floor toilet, the hot tub is dirty that we end up cleaning for us to be able to use, dusty and loads of cubweds in one of the bedroom downstairs.”

“We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. “Meadow Terrace is in a great location in Shrewsbury. A parking space is available for the duration of the stay. The beds were very comfortable. It is an old house on 3 levels, so quite a few stairs, but with plenty of room for the 2 of us. It had everything we needed for our stay. It was our second time here.”

“We had a wonderful time with a group of young people at the start of a 26 week employability and life skills programme. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is at the heart of the property and we could all sit around the table to eat our meals.The location is great for walks and the garden good for exploring. “We got put into a different property than the one in the pictures however it was a lovely spacious place to stay. It had a balcony with a roof so we could sit out even in the rain. It had an inflatable hot tub which was different to the one in the pictures as the one in the pictures was a normal hot tub however this wasn’t an issue. “Such a shame this is a tale of two halves. Staff all lovely, helpful and go out of their way to help you. The problem is in the cleanliness and upkeep of the premises and rooms inside and out. A lot of money has been spent on the rooms but not cleaned properly and why have a posh coffee water heater for beverages in room which you cant fill up under the tap???
