Comfortable vacation apartment

We, a family of 5, stayed at this apartment for a little getaway weekend. We found this apartment to be quite comfortable, well placed within the town and stocked with all the necessaties. The check-in was simple and easy, and communication with the host was flawless. He even provided a parking spot behind the apartment, upon request. We also brought our dog, who was also welcome. There is a small park about a 10 minute walk away for kids. Just to note (as I must have missed it in the listing) that this apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator and since it is on a busier street, if the windows are open, you do hear the traffic. But all in all, we would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.

Eir waren nur über das WE dort. Die Lage ist super, ideal für zwei Pärchen oder größere Familie.Parkplätze an der Elbe. ( 5 der Tag)Für ältere oder gehbehindert nicht so optimal da die Wohnung im 5.OG Altbau ist.

Für einen Kurztrip okay

Wir reisten als Familie mit Kindern an. Das Haus wirkte solide und sehr sehr schön gelegen, direkt an der Elbe. Jeden Morgen ein wunderschöner Sonnenaufgang. Sehr gemütliche Betten. Der Hausflur erschrak uns, stark rauchiger-muffiger Geruch, woher der Gestank kam, keine Ahnung. Die Ferienwohnung befindet sich im 4. Stock ohne Fahrstuhl. Die Räume sind gut aufgeteilt, alles schön hell und zur Nacht gut abzudunkeln. Allerdings glänzte die Wohnung nicht durch Sauberkeit. Wir sind nicht steril, aber eine gewisse Grundsauberkeit gehört einfach dazu. Schmutziger Besteckkasten, dreckige fettige Wand hinterm Herd, dick mit Staub bedeckte Ablage im Flur, ... Vieles vom Geschirr ist erstmal in den Geschirrspüler gewandert. Salz und Pfeffer Streuer draußen auf der Ablage total klebrig staubig. Also wie gesagt... Wenn man sich nicht zu viel umsieht, kann man es dort ein paar wenige Tage aushalten. Aber definitiv nicht länger. Die hygienischen Bedingungen müssen dringend besser werden.

Preis und Leistung waren im richtigen Verhältnis

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr gut. Die Schlüsselübergabe erfolgt kontaktlos über einen Schlüsselsafe. Die Lage des Objektes ist sowohl gut wie auch schlecht. Man ist sehr nah an den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt aber auch direkt an der B6, der Hauptstraße in Meißen mit sehr viel Durchgangsverkehr. Mit offenem Fenster schlafen empfiehlt sich in zweierlei Hinsicht nicht: der Verkehrslärm und die Mücken! Einen Parkplatz gab es entgegen der Objektbeschreibung nicht, gemeint ist wohl der öffentliche Parkplatz gegenüber dem Objekt, der an Werktagen zwischen 8 und 17 Uhr kostenpflichtig ist (und das Ordnungsamt war an zwei Tage pünktlich vor Ort). Das Objekt bestand aus einer 2-Zimmer-Wohnung mit Küche, Diele und innenliegendem Bad mit Wanne. Die Küche hatte zwei Kochplatten, Mikrowelle, Kühl-Gefrierkombination und ist mit dem Notwendigsten ausgestattet.
