There are many opportunities to relax and do sports in Meißenheim and its district of Kürzell. Only a few minutes by car from the Europapark in Rust.
Hiking and mountain biking in the Black Forest or in the nearby Vosges mountains, but also cycling, inline skating, horse riding, canoeing and wonderful bathing lakes offer a varied and rich range of leisure activities in the Ried region on the Rhine.
Meißenheim with Kürzell is a modern residential community situated in the Baden Ried landscape with many activities, clubs, social facilities and cultural events. Certified as a horse-friendly village, the municipality can look back on a long and successful riding and driving history.
The transport links are conveniently located on the B36 federal highway and the A5 Karlsruhe-Basel highway.
The Black Forest Airport Lahr is in the immediate vicinity.
Nearby Alsace and Strasbourg in particular can be reached quickly and easily via the two Rhine bridges Nonnenweier/Gerstheim and Altenheim/Eschau.
