The space This classic Albert Park Victorian home is located on Danks Street, literally just meters from shops, cafes, the beach and trams. Across the road and around the corner the local landmark, Gasworks Park is a dog friendly off-lead park and has a children’s playground.
The home is within easy walking distance to Albert Park shopping village with its popular boutiques and cafes. Also close is Albert Park, Melbourne’s premier sports, aquatic and recreation park with its stunning lake. South Melbourne Market and all the great Clarendon Street shops, cafes and restaurants are only minutes away.
The home has been fully renovated and decorated with a collection of fine furniture and selected artworks. It has three bedrooms, including a spacious upstairs Master Bedroom with 42 inch Smart TV, luxury Ensuite and Walk in Robe, a downstairs Queen bedroom with large built in wardrobes and an upstairs Study / Bunkroom with bunks and a desk. This light and bright home can comfortably sleep up to six guests.
Downstairs, the stylish central bathroom has a luxurious deep bath and concealed laundry with washing machine and dryer and a convenient fold away ironing board.
Open the distinctive red front door and walk down the entry hall that opens out to a modern chef’s kitchen complete with European appliances, a large double door fridge, an island bench with breakfast bar, a wine fridge, coffee machine and a well-equipped pantry with everything needed for cooking pleasure. Adjacent to the kitchen is the dining area with six seater dining table which can be easily extended to seat up to eight.
The expansive Living Room features a sunny, north-facing aspect that looks out on garden greenery. The living room is complete with a giant 65 inch Smart TV, Bluetooth/Wifi Sonos system and work station desk that is a useful home office. The delightful outdoor courtyard with timber deck, landscaped plants, water feature, outdoor table and gas barbeque is perfect for enjoying el fresco dining and entertaining.
The house features ducted heating, air conditioning, fast 100Mbps WiFi with unlimited data, Netflix and free on-street parking right outside the front door.
PARKING There is plenty of unrestricted and restricted parking on the street in front of and near the property. Please refer to the Parking Map provided on the property listing and provided in the house for details. Regrettably, the local council no longer provides Visitor Parking Permits to Short Stay Accommodation.
There is unrestricted parking narby on the side of the streets surrounding Albert Park College along Danks, Withers and Graham Streets. Withers Street is the street immediately to the left facing the house.
Well behaved pets are most welcome.
This is awesome A1 Albert Park accommodation for fine inner Melbourne bayside living at its best. Visit and enjoy. Guest access The place is all yours. Come and go as you please. Other things to note The home is strictly a No Party, No Noise, No Smoking house. Guests are allowed visitors but no parties. Guests are asked to be mindful of neighbours at all times. Smoking is permitted outside in the rear garden area.
