"Room was clean, breakfast was great (apart from the pod coffee machine not working very well), late check out at 12.00 was really helpful and staff were really friendly at the reception desk and at breakfast. The pool wasn’t open which was a shame as it was 26 degrees whilst we were there. I would definitely stay there again as it was so close to the medieval city. "

It felt more like staying in someone’s home than a standard holiday let, which we really enjoyed - the books, games, and personal touches made it feel welcoming and lived-in.The location overlooking Place Carnot is very central and convenient, with plenty of bars, cafés, and restaurants right on your doorstep. It does mean the square can be quite lively and noisy, especially in the evenings and early mornings (including cleaning and recycling activities), so light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.The apartment had everything we needed for our stay, and Kaye was very responsive and helpful before and during our visit."

"The hotel is very convenient for accessing the fortress, shops & restaurants. It is right across the street from the wall & very close to the gate without the long uphill walk. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, room was very clean. The shower was a little small but fine & there was also a free standing tub. We would definitely stay there again."
