Room was ok. A bit dusty. Looks like it’s not the best place but wasn’t the worst. Quite. Not the place to stay long term. Just for sleeping upon your trip of being out and about. Staff was nice. Breakfast was limited. Sausage gravy and biscuits. Waffles and coffee. Breakfast ran out of coffee and a lot of other things quick and it was only available until 9am. No deposit which was a plus.

The room was a dump. Carpet torn, ceiling tape peeling off, bathroom door dirty, stairwells filthy and anchors missing, breakfast bar was a joke. Maid service walked into our room to collect towels while we were still getting dressed. On top of that the room smelled like a perfume store. Our companions left and went to another hotel. We felt stuck because we’ve tried to get a refund thru Expedia once before and they refused to help us. We will never, ever use Expedia again. Evidently they don’t check the properties they advertise.

Where do I start… First of all, pulling up I knew I was staying in a 1 star hotel, there were garbage bags on the ground outside, a diaper box, and the grounds were not clean. Then, I went to check in, and nowhere did it say I had to put down $ for a deposit and had already paid for the room. The desk clerk was rude and told me I couldn’t stay unless it was paid. I had to get a hold of Expedia, because if I had known that, I would have brought my cc. I was not here on vacation, I’m a traveling healthcare worker who just needs a place to sleep when up in Memphis. Expedia got the clerk to let me to stay if I gave her $50 cash. She was so rude and how she is in customer service I will never understand! Then, in order to get it back, I had to go to the clerk in the early morning to get my deposit back. I specifically asked if they would be open at 5:30 in the morning to get my deposit back because I had to be at work, and she said “yes”. When I went to check out, the door was locked and I had to knock to get someone in order to check out. The guy proceeded to tell me I had to wait 5 minutes in order to get my deposit back. Ridiculous!!! I’m a paying customer and that’s how they talk to customer?If this is the role model of customer service, then we are in big trouble! As far as the room, it was ok. The doors were dirty and the internet was slow and didn’t work very well. I would not recommend anyone staying here unless you don’t mind having poor customer service!!!

The housekeepers were friendly and very welcoming. If I had any problems the hotel took care of it right away. The only problem I had is my Internet kept going out but I enjoyed the stay. I would recommend and stay there again.

The place was like mostly abandoned and you could tell they did repairs, but they did not have anybody professional do them. They were absolutely terrible and. Upon arrival, it was very cold outside and there was absolutely no heat on in the room and it took hours to get warm no extra blanket. I felt like I was in a shelter.
