My room here was canceled by the hotel and I was unaware. My family and I drove over 500 miles to Tennessee and we didn’t have a room to stay in. Spring Hill Suites Memphis East- Galleria owes me for my complete hotel stay. I have an email that was sent on 11/11/25 stating that they had to urgently cancel my room for an unforeseen event that has occurred with the military. They stated that they have sent the cancellation to Expedia advising as this was not a personal cancellation. This is totally on the hotel itself. This property was absolutely disgusting. The room was old and nasty. The paint was piling off the walls. There were cracks in the ceiling. Everything was either rusty and dirty. The room had an awful smell. The bedding, the floors and the furniture looked decades old and so nasty. Immediately left the room and requested a FULL refund… still waiting on the funds to release from my credit card. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! The pictures are deceitful!

This property had roaches in the mini refrigerators, ants, mold in the bathrooms, gnats in the rooms, stains all over the room floor, doors that you can look through and see the hallway, and smoked out rooms covered up with fragrance. while the staff was great, the accommodations were not, our room spelled like week old moldy water, the tub had some stains around it, we were looking forward to using the pool and hot tub, which the hot tub was closed and wasn’t stated on the website, and the pool looked like it wasn’t cleaned other than skimmed on the top. the breakfast was good for a breakfast included in a hotel stay.

The Expedia description for this property is deceptive and inaccurate. It states "guest can use a nearby fitness center (free access)". This is not true, the only fitness option is a small fitness room inside the hotel with very limited equipment. This was the deciding factor for me selecting this hotel, so I was very disappointed to find out it was false. I don't appreciate being lied to.

Always the spot we choose

We stay here each time we take daughter back to college. The room is spacious. The beds are comfy and ac works great. The carpet in the room had some big red stains like paint. Breakfast is ok. Not a big selection but it’s ok.

The staff was really nice, but it was no good. I had to switch my room right when I got there because it was wet all around the side of one side of the bed/room. Switched my room and it was the same situation. Towels appeared dirty, and the hallways reeked of marijuana. The breakfast was awful.
