"Very clean "

"David’s cabin was a good stay for our family vacation! There are a few things that I wish I would have paid more attention to including the amount of stairs in the cabin, the approach to the dock, the dock itself, and the lack of yard space to play. Dave was very open about the approach to the dock and not being able to wade in or swim off the dock due to a soft lake bottom. However, we had a pontoon rented for a few days of our stay and were unable to utilize the dock to due shallow water at the dock and had to load it every night. The stairs in the cabin were okay for us but was inconvenient hauling in luggage, groceries, coolers, etc. as you walk into the basement and the kitchen is on the main level which is up one flight of stairs. During our stay, there was an issue with the air conditioning which Dave was very good about addressing as the cabin was extremely warm. He communicated well with me regarding updates on this matter, but unfortunately this happened later in the evening and was unable to be resolved until the next day. This resulted in the cabin being roughly 80 degrees overnight, in which we were compensated a very small amount for.You can tell they have put a lot of work into the cabin and are passionate about making sure their guests are welcomed! Overall, we had a great time and made lots of great memories!"

"Rooms are great, outside is a bit run down. Parking is very tight.. But love the convenience of checking in and it is close to Itasca state park and other cute towns. I would stay here again."

"Excellent communication throughout the process beginning with making reservations to checking out. The cabins were clean, staff friendly, lots of activities to do on site. The breakfast was amazing! I loved the fire pits setup. Highly recommend this place. It was close enough to Detroit Lakes and other towns that had activity available like the beach. "

"We loved our stay here for our family of 5. Perfect set up with the King, Queen and Bunks. Simple yet spacious, great view of the sunsets, flat backyard for the kids to play, beach area to swim with sand bottom. We definitely want to come back. Hosts provided all the little details in the kitchen and use of their paddle board and kayak. We loved it. "
