「My spouse and I had a great stay here. Very clean, quiet, and calm. Great fishing off the dock on this private lake. There is also a two person kayak to use. The owner supplied wood, fire starters, lighters, even s’mores supplies! There is a stereo in this camper with speakers outside as well so you can sit by the fire with music playing. The neighbors cat gave us a visit, he/she is very friendly and cute. I would definitely recommend staying here.」

「We initially missed that we were renting a shared property with the owners, which we always avoid. But it ended up working out great! The rental side of the property is set up to where you don’t even realize it’s shared. We liked that both bedrooms were upstairs and had bathrooms attached. Great location relative to our family in Perham and the downtown area. We look forward to coming back during the summer to take advantage of the lake. The lake and those amenities will make the rental price...

「We had a wonderful time walking to shops and visited a brewery in downtown Detroit Lakes. We originally intended to cross-country ski the area, but with no snow and unseasonably warm weather, we involved Plan B with family and simply hung out together. The house was extremely comfortable, well stocked, and exceeded our expectations. Great neighborhood, and great host.」

Even little things like when I forgot my toothbrush. We happened to stay during polar plunge and -11 yikes. The separation of spaces were very nice the gamers loved the basement. 「This is a great property for large groups! Large open concept! Owner was quick to answer questions and very pleasant! Property is on a quiet lake with beautiful outdoor spaces. Only suggestion is bring extra blankets on cooler days because basement stays cool.」

I contacted the host a day before arrival to see if we would be able to get in any sooner than 4PM since we were traveling quite a distance and wanted to time our arrival correctly. 「Great place to stay at, enough rooms for all of our friends and a big kitchen/dining area to hang at. Also really enjoyed the hot tub and patio/grill area for smoking on the green egg. Location of the house and views of the lake are amazing, would be a great place to stay in the summer as well!」
