「I wanted to visit Mendocino with my partner, I planned a surprise weekend getaway and I found this gem! It’s just outside of Mendocino so all the trails were only 10-15 minutes away. The property was the perfect size. It was cozy and clean and exactly what I was looking for. Ann was the sweetest! She made us feel at home, offered to use her larger kitchen for some steaks I wanted to cook the first night. 「Queen's Loft was a nice surprise! I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time!」

「The Mendocino art center is wonderful. We loved being in town and so near the ocean. We loved our little apartment. The only thing I would request is that the outdoor lights are super bright, for them to be turned off at night. They’re not gentle lights. They are very bright, LED blue lights. Even though we had curtains, the lights came in from all around and made the room pretty bright at night. We stayed for two nights, and both mornings around 5:00 AM, somebody banged around in the shed below...
