“I was relaxed n all went well”

“I enjoyed the peace and quiet and lack of technology in the room. I work in information technology and I needed to unplug really bad. Perfect for me. The rooms are clean and well-kept up. Cleaner and better kept than the embassy suites I stayed in the night before. I stayed here about 6 years ago. I enjoyed the piece and quiet so much I came back.”

“The attached restaurant is excellent.”

“If a manager from outside the Wisconsin culture is running the motel, he needs to realize that most Wisconsinites are Brewers and Buck fans. The Brewer game was NOT provided per the TV and in fact paying for the game was required. Such excessive cost after the room is already purchased is VERY inhospitable and frankly anti-social.”

“Great space in the double room suite. Sofa bed. Recliner. Two beds. Coffee table. And a table with two chairs. Worked great for our family in one room ”

“This wasn’t a bad stay at all! We were a bit early for check in due to having a funeral to attend in town and the manager was beyond rude (while not on the clock even) the front desk attendant afterwards was beyond helpful and nice but the other woman had to make sure she got her 2 cents in regardless of our situation. ”

“Friendly clean service. Upgrades to the hotel from last year very impressive. Very disappointed planed to spend time by the pool with our friends. One of the reasons for picking hotel.”

“This is an older property that has been upgraded. Good size room. Fridge and microwave were a nice touch. They don't provide small soaps, shampoo, kleenex, room phone, or tv and heat/air instructions. The bed frames stuck out beyond the mattress making it easy to stub your toes. Beds and pillows were comfortable and clean. Nice size towels. Generally quiet. ”

“We loved this property. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 7 and 10 years old. One of the adults and the 2 kids hung out at the house while 4 of us hiked many miles of the Ice Age Trail. The kids joined us for a few miles at the Dells of the Eau Claire and then went back to the property to play and hang out. We had a fire in the fire ring, played croquet, and ladder golf. The house was immaculate. Highly recommended!”

“We had A great time,hanging out and making use of all the things the place had to offer...the huge fire pit area,the nice lounge/bar area in the lower level,and the upper living area,as well..everyone had a comfortable bed,and what more could you ask for,the place was great ! good food,good friends,good times ! hope to stay again..thank you,Kevin and Erin”

“Needed a shut down after move and all that involves. Just what the doctor ordered. Be sure and stop at Heartbreakers for dinner. The cabin and the surrounding area was all we needed.”

“We were very pleasantly surprised by so many things about our stay. We enjoyed the pool which was clean, warm, and well stocked with balls and pool noodles. The community room with a pool table, foos ball and shuffle board table was a fun surprise. In the home, the bathroom was new and very clean, the dining area was nice, the bedrooms were very good, and the family room was great. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star review is the kitchen because the oven had such a bad odor that……

“We enjoyed our stay here. The property manager was very prompt in addressing some difficulties checking in. We had 4 adults and 2 kids and the sleeping arrangements were a bit tight, but there was space for everyone. The location is wonderful. Great spot to sit outside or check out the river or swing on the tree swing or build a fire. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils to make all our meals as well.”

“Very clean inside and very welcoming.staff was very friendly and quick to get my reservation. Rooms very clean and very comfortable beds. Small issue the toilet kept running all night and the TV channels are kinda slow. ”

“We were happy to be able to walk to everything we needed in Shawano including the stubborn brothers brewery. The place was spacious and it was really nice to have two bathrooms. Host was very responsive.”
