「First of all the staff were always polite and extremely helpful. The front desk people booked an excursion to Amalfi and Positano by boat at our request with pick up at our marina. Asking them for help with any excursions is a smart move. The breakfast was nicer than anticipated and the serving staff cheerful. 「This is not the most convenient location- you have to take a shuttle with limited times to get to the train station to get to Sorrento and from there get a ferry to Naples, Capri or Amalfi / Positino. I thought we were staying in Sorrento so took a ferry there and it costs us $80 euros to get to hotel sadly. You also have to get a bus between the ferry port and train station or walk it. All of this hard on my husband who uses a Walker. However, with all that said, this place is TERRIFIC!! No...

「The Grand Hotel is a mediocre, apparently 5*, hotel. I have stayed in 3* hotels which have been much better. In Naples, Parkers Hotel is far superior. The ‘superior’ room whilst reasonably spacious was drab and had no facility for making hot drinks. It was located on the side of the hotel and the balcony overlooked what seemed to be a massive taxi rank. 「The location is very good, where the entrence of the city of Pompeii is just next to the hotel. Free parking is provided. The garden is fascinating where lots of home planted lemon trees are all around. You can take lots of great photos in this fascinating garden at night. Dishes were excellent especially the Napoli pizza.」
