「The property was just as described in the listing. Shannon was a pleasure to meet & work with. Met us at the property & showed us around. Gave us some good suggestions on restaurants & provided a great 'Welcoming Basket'. House was convenient to all the distilleries & Keeneland which is what we were there for. Will definitely stay there again!」

「Had a great stay. Listing was very accurate and the area was as quiet as can be. I would warn anyone coming during deer season to take it extremely slow down the country roads. In one trip to the property we had 8 different "woah there" moments with deer. Also had one waiting at the front door for us to get home that night which was awesome! Would definitely do it again!」

「The house is a charming farmhouse with that neat blend of old-style charm and modern convenience. It feels like out in the countryside, but only a short drive to anything. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen well supplied, and there's a few games and toys for kiddos (plus tv and wifi), with lots of yard to explore. The owner, who lives in a separate home on property is friendly and helpful! Loved our stay!」

「The Hager Hideaway is in the middle of everything and is a quiet, restorative oasis on its own. The 1830's farmhouse is absolutely charming and very cozy. We could have spent the entire weekend exploring Harrodsburg, but Bardstown is only an hour away via scenic back roads (less if via the Bluegrass Parkway), so we HAD to spend a day there. 「If you want a perfect escape this is the place !Paula and Scott are the perfect hosts! The house is so warm and cozy and there was plenty of room for all 11 of us. The farm animals , bonfires , golf range, and swings made the outdoors so fun! And the icing on the cake were 5 baby bunnies that were such a special treat. The views were wonderful too.
